3rd Gen Catching Latias

Yes. But this applies to all the Pokemon in your party, not just the top one.

So if i dont use a repel my part levels wont affect it. But if i do use repel all my pokemon have to be lower than level 40. Thats very strange. Or did u mean that was for the Turn off Turn on trick? Im sorry i am going on im just really confused on what to do. :(

It's OK ^_^ This isn't for the Turn Off trick, just generally. Try going in every single route, and in every patch of grass and stretch of water. That's what I did to get my Latias.

Thanks^_^ i guess im gonna go hunting. I have some other pokemon to collect so hopefull when im looking for them i will find Latias.Thanks to everyone who has helped me. :classic: I really appericate it.

Here's what I did:

Okay, you need a level 65 Sceptile, and a Wobbuffet. Every time you find Latias, use False Swipe until it's down to 1 HP. Then put Wobbuffet first, and find it again. If your lucky, it'll keep on using Refresh. Throw Ultra Balls at it. Repeat until caught. :)

well i know where to find it easily but it only took me 5 minutes. look around on the water next to sky pillar. u should find it there. also have trapinch (arena trap) or golbat (with mean look)
 
um, mrcatdog, I used that same way (use wobuffet, switch out for a false swipe pokemon) and as soon as the false swip did damage, latios ran...so the shadow tag does NOT last the entire battle. i guess just till damage is done to latios/as, then s/he runs. wussy pokemon at first, lemme tell ya...
 
Im gonna cry. I cant find it anywhere. I have spent ages looking for it. I have even tried Shuko's way. Nothing. I am currently trying Shukos way again on route 121. But it is so annoying. I havent even seen her once.

read my post i have tried it that way. I stated that in the post above urs. Im having no luck wat so ever :(

EDIT: This thread can be closed as i have just caught latias thanks to Bayleefs way. And my Unwilling patience. So could a Mod Please Close this.
