3rd Gen caught ledgendary with pokeball

It actually is quite simple to catch legendaries with Pokeballs. I caught Entei once on my Crystal once without weakening it or using a Golbat with Mean Look. I'm just like, "OMFG! How did that happen?" xD
It always happens in games that if you relatively have barely any luck with catchig any kind of Pokemon no matter what their HP is, legenaries are fairly easy to catch. And the Entei I caught was shiny. But my brother tampered with my game and let his geeky little friend delete it. I had over 150 Pokemon on that Crystal file. >.<

I happened to catch Regirock with a pokeball on my 5th try.

lol i caught latios today with a pokeball, it had full health. I didn't have a pokemon to make it sleep at the time and i only had pokeballs.

I through 30 Ultraballs in a row agianst regirock. When I through a pokeball it jiggled from side to side. Then after throughing a bunch of pokeballs it bacame just like the Ultraballs.I through a great ball and it proved affective though unsuccessful.
In conclusion all of the legendaries we have cuaght likely didn't go in the ball becuase it was a pokeball but probably becuase the pokemon was getting "imune" to the same ball being thrown over and over.
Eventually I cuaght it with the Ultraball trick when I finally got it right.

I think I caught one of the Regis with a Pokeball, forgot which one though. I did throw one Ultra Ball at Rayquaza when it had half HP left and it caught and it ended up having a good nature too XD

Lol

I remember the first time I caught Kyogre... I didn't read any walkthroughs or anything, and I didn't know what I was about to run into. I had been low on money, and I only had about ten ultra balls, a few great balls, and some of those odd balls (heh, I made a pun. :P) like the nest ball, net ball, etc. Anyway, I used up all the normall balls on him, then my weird ones. It came down to one net ball and I caught him in it. I debated restarting though, because I didn't have enough money to replenish my pokeball supply. ;_; I stuck it out.

Well my first time through Sapphire I wasted the Master Ball on Kyogre, not knowing Rayquaza existed. When I did get to it I only had Ultra Balls. I ended up going through everything I had except one. A Nest Ball. I threw it, caught it, and from then on whenever my big, bad Rayquaza came out it had pretty hearts appear around it. :/ Macho or what?

pokeballs works better than any other ball but ultra ball can be use to catch some low lvl pokemon around lvl 10 -15.

The best I ever did was catch a Ho-Oh with a great ball. But, congrats on the Rayquaza, Smity Boy.

I decided to go catch the regis about 15 minutes ago and caught regirock with a great ball. Not as good as a pokeball catch, but still good XD!

I caught Entei with a Pokeball on my Silver version and Kyogre with a Pokeball on my Sapphire.

I have caught all the Birds, Mewtwo, Kyogre, Regice and Rayquaza with a pokeball, thanks to my LV: 99 syther with Falseswipe!!

But wouldn't they birds kill Scyther with only two or three hits? I mean, drill peck, Flame Thrower, and Ice beam are pretty darned effective against him. :) I'll bet you had to use a lot of potions on him, lol.

The only way I can think of why you guys caught the legendaries(with pokeballs) is when you hold the arrow pointing up(or down),and pressing B, they act like Masterballs. I've done this, and it works. The only thing is, it doesn't last forever. You can use each 3 times every new game you play.

I caught Mewtwo once also with a pokeball. Since we are are talking about pokemon from different games, wouldnt it be better if this was in General Games Discusson.

You know you guys really are dense( no offense) if you didn't realize that you have the best chance at catching a pokemon when they're asleep. I figured this out because I caught Rayquaza with a pokeball when it was asleep to recover its health. I also read a Trainer Tips sign that said, and I quote. " Pokemon are helpless when they are asleep, paralyzed or" I forgot what the last one was. But that is how I came to own my Rayquza in a pokeball. Sadly a few months later my game was stolen. So I can't enjoy the luxuries of owning a Rayquaza:( :dead:
note: This was in Ruby Red version, as though it makes a difference though.
