Sernir and Jade were just watching from the foot of the mesa. Behind them, people could be seen evacuating Dios Mesa. Some even stopped to see them before they were scared off by Jade?s pet.

Jade smiled and said, ?Why do they run? They going to be destroy anyways.?

?Clearly you haven?t been human.? Said Sernir. ?Feelings and fears is only natural with them.?

Jade then just smiled and said, ?Well, geniuses just know how to live without that kind of stuff.?

Sernir then open up a shadow portal and stepped into it. ?Where you going?
?I got some stuff to do before I meet the others.? Said Sernir.

?Let me come with? said Jade and step into the portal.

Crystal stood there and said, ?We need to stop these girls. But how??

?Best way is to offer our best to them.? Said Mike.

?That will be us three then.? Said Superion then he looked at Chezni and Mike.

?What do we do?? asked Jodi.

?We be useless if we try to fight those three chics.? Said Cody.

?Stay out of the way and help any others ? said Chezni.

Jodi then had a vision. He saw a little girl and a house on fire. Ash and Manachu was there trying to save the girl but gray spider-like creature attack them.

?We need to look for Ash. He looks like he needs help.? Jodi motion to Cody and Crystal.

Anna looked at Mike and said, ?You want us to hide and appear when it time to seal up Servitis?? Mike nodded. Anna and the other 6 Sunner?s wizards then chanted a spell and in a flash of white light they were gone.

Altia then saw Jodi running down the steps of the Dios Mesa. She smiled and shot after them. Superion then jumped in front of her then punch her out of the way.

Altia then said, ?So this is the ?Great Protector of the Pokemon and humans?? The one to end the evil of all.?

?What you mean ?Great Protector??? siad Superion.

?You don?t know?? said Altia. ?Then they must have not told you.?

She then formed a huge yellow ax and stung it at Superion. He then shield the attack and attack with his own sword. A lightning shot from it and stuck Altia. She smiled and siad, ?Anger. You mad I tried to attack your girlfriend, Great Protector?? Superion then attack again with an energy blast.

Mike then shot at Miria with a red sword in hand. Miria was bray able to get out of the way of the sword and Mike said, ?This goes against mine principles but you weren?t acting very lady like when you try to destroy that pokemon center.?

Miria frowned and said, ?So I got stuck fighting the gentleman of the group? How luckly.? She then materize a long blue sickle. ?Let see you take this on for size.? She stung her sickle at Mike who dodge the attack and shot a flamethrower attack.

?I gain power from my pokemon and we all share our energy as one.? Said Mike and then he use a thunderbolt.

Miria then shot her own lightning bolt from her sickle at Mike?s own thunderbolt. ?We seem to be equally match.? She said.

Chezni attacked gracefully with his two blades but all seeming to be dodge with Tyria?s own green daggers. Tyria then strick CHezni armor and then CHezni hit her back. They were both quite as they fought.

Tiaray stood there not sure what to do because all three of them were into there own battle. ?They all have there own reason to fight but it is not going to be easy. Then out of nowhere a black spider shot at her.
 
Ooc: A little explaining. Tiamat's real name is Takhesis, which only Elves or creatures that are part Elven can pronounce. Why is this important? The spider calls Tiamat by that name. Ooc)

Tiaray got out of the way just in time to see webbing covering a large area of ground. As she turned around, she saw what appeared to be a woman with a grey skinned body and a spider's abdomen and 8 legs. The spider lady weaved around a bit, until she regained her composure.

"Heh, heh... With Takhesis here, were you even WONDERING when I was going to show up?!" the spider said.

"Lolth... (pronounced Loth)" Tiaray said. "You KNOW you're no match for me... Why are you here?!"

"Because I can't let the other ladies have ALL the fun." Lolth said. "Besides... We're the decoys! And Takhesis will reward me for doing this."

"What do you mean, 'decoys'?!" Tiaray said.

Lolth simply grinned in response. "You'll just have to wait until Zarnon comes back to find out."

"Why do you still serve Tiamat?!" Tiaray said. "Don't you realize that she's trying to DESTROY this world?! That includes YOU as well!"

"I don't care." Lolth said. "Being the Gods we are, if this world is destroyed, we'll just find another world. Another land where people can be easily manipulated. Like that fool Jade."

Without warning, an aura of light, engulfed Tiaray. It was flashing a similar pattern to her eyes. "I'm not going to let ANY of you destroy this world!" Tiaray said. "There are too many people that I care about here."

It was as if all of the fighting stopped, as Chezni and the rest looked on toward Tiaray. "Yeah..." Chezni said. "Now we're gonna see some REAL power!"

"Unbelievable..." Miria said. "How can she be THAT strong?! She's..."

"She's more powerful than Tiamat..." Altia said.

As Tiaray's aura grew in power, hundreds of loud roars could be heard in the distance. In a matter of seconds, thousands of dragons could be seen filling the skies. However, these were gold, silver, bronze, copper, and brass instead of the chromatic ones from before.

"My army has arrived." Tiaray said, as the others looked on. "Who's first?"
 
?How about you? said Tiaray to Lolth.

Lothe seemed more scared now and tried hiding behind her spider pet. ?You wouldn?t dare? Your dragons are no match for my Spider. Don?t even think about attacking me Takjusis. Attack Mono? (OOC: Tiaray?s real name that only what you say can pronounce.)

The spider jumped up and attack the closest dragon near him. Once the spider got close to the copper dragon, the rest of the dragons then began to attack the spider. It was an onslaught for the spider. Lolth stepped back and made a protective shield that repels the dragons.

?Good luck on getting me now Takjusis.? She said.

?Coward.? Said Tiaray. ?Who next??

She tried to go into the battle with Superion. He then span Altia to get her away. He then intercept Tiaray and said, ?Leave this to us! I know me and the others can take care of these ladies.?

Altia then shot forward and try slashing Superion with her yellow ax but Superion dodge it with his sword. His sword was broken due to the attack.

?Armless are we?? Altia said, ?Good!? she then try attacking again as lightning was following behind her.

Superion grab the small sword that hung around his neck. Then in a flash of white light. The sword was enlarge.

Altia stopped and the lightning that was following her shot forward and hit Superion. Superion then shot the lightning back at Alita who recovered from the attack.

?That can?t be? It the sword has the holed blade. The blade that looks like a chain.? She said. ?No fear. She then smiled.

Superion hand then formed the cannon again. He put the sword in a slot above the cannon. ?Crystal Chain Cannon!!?

Mike and his pokemon seemed to but their best into their battle with Miria. Mike?s blade and Miria?s sickle struck each other. Sparks flew and both seemed not to wearly.

?I not giving up? said Mike. He then shot a lightning from his blade.

Miria caught it with her sickle. But Mike then stick her with his blade.

Tyria tries to stab Chezni with her green daggers but Chezni dodges again and strikes with his two blades. Tyria disappears and then attack again. Chezni then shot a blue orb that hit Tyria and froze her arm.

Tyria then broke the ice and her arm was ok. ?You have got stronger.?

She then gather energy and was holding it in her daggers. ?Comet Struck!? She was going right at Chezni.
 
Ooc: This is a short one, because I'm just doing Chezni's fight. I'll leave the other two up to you how you want them to go. Ooc)

Once again, Chezni dodged the attack, as Tyria flew past him. "Big mistake." he said. The next thing Tyria saw was two glowing red blade-like beams coming at her. Try as she might, she couldn't dodge them and ended up taking the blast.

Despite the power of the attack, she only suffered minor damage. "Why you..." Tyria said, as she charged again.

"I don't have time for this..." Chezni said. "Powers of Chaos and Balance, lend me your aid!" As Chezni spoke, energy began forming in his hands.

"Oh, great." Tyria said. "You're going to drive yourself insane to stop me? You're out of your mind!"

"Who said anything about me going insane?" Chezni said as he pointed the energy toward Tyria. "Delta Attack!!!"

With that, eight beams of seperate elemental energy erupted from Chezni's hands. Try as she might, Tyria found it impossible to dodge the attack, as she was sent plummeting to the ground.

Sean managed to see part of the fight and had to peek at Tyria. Her body was completely mangled, as she lay limp as a ragdoll. "Right on..." was all he could think of saying.

Just then, Chezni also collapsed to the ground. "Looks like... I overdid it... I'm... spent..." he said, as he lost consciousness. After a second, he transformed back to his normal form.

Mike noticed this and nodded. "It's alright..." he said. "We'll take care of these guys for you. You just get your energy back..."
 
The blade was stuck deep into Miria?s arm. Then where the sword stuck an explosion was made. After the smoke cleared. Miria was missing an arm and Mike was standing somewhat stong.

?Never take a explosion at such close range ok kids.? Said Mike jokily.

Miria had a look of anger on her face. ?You! You won?t be joking for long.? She then put her sickle to her blasted arm. Then in a flash the arm and sickle fused together. At the elbow it was a wooden sickle at the end.

?Fear my power!!? she yelled at Mike and charge forth at him.

Mike wasn?t able to dodge fast and was slash many times. His pokemon were also taking damage even if they weren?t getting attack.

?Who laughing now?? she said.

?Well I be if I wasn?t slash like crazy.? Mike looked at this pokemon. ?We going have to share our energy even closer. Transfusion.?

Miria was going to shot at him again but with a green firely blade. But when Mike said Transfusion, it was like time froze. After time started again Mike was looking somewhat different. His pokemon was gone but his looked was more different.

Mike grab the sickle?s blade with his nidoqueen looking hands. The flame from the sickle covered his body but he seems to be taking little pain.

?That should have killed you!? Miria said.

?Me and my pokemon have a stonger bodn now that our powers are closely knitted together.? Mike then perform a dance. He glowed a bit to show that power was rising in him. ?Dragon Dance?

?You think that will help you!? she went forth again but with a speed that made it look like there were two of her. Most attacks missed as Mike kept dancing while some hit.

Mike then push her to make some space. ?Now to finish it.? Mike then formed another red sword engraved with faces of Legendary Pokemon. ?Blade of Legends?

He swung his red blade and slash was large to engulf her body. After the blade made it through her body. All that was left a few limbs and mostly her face.

Jodi and the others were walking through the now ghost town of Dio?s Meas City. ?You sure there something happening here?? asked Cody.

Jodi just ignored him and kept walking. Jodi then looked down a street. ?It that way.? She pointed down the street. The others followed her.

Superion?s Crystal Chain Cannon was going straight to Altia. The crystal like cahin connected to the sword.

The beam like chain went thought Altia and light erupted from the hit but Altia stilled had the figth left.

?Great Protector? You need to do better.? She then ready herself to attack with her ax.
 
"Wow..." Superion said, looking at Sean. "She's something else."

"My thoughts exactly..." Sean said.

"Don't worry." Lance's voice could be heard as his ship, Bahamut was nearing the last fight. "Try this." As he finished, a cannon was dropped into Superion's arms. It looked identical to his Chain Cannon, but was instead golden.

"I think..." Superion said. "I might be able to use them together..."

"Go for it..." Sean said.

"OK..." Superion said, fastening the cannon to his arm. With that, he formed the Crystal Cannon in the other arm. "Let's do this! Double Chain Cannon Attack!!!"

Altia could only watch in horror as a beam 3 times as powerful as the last one headed toward her. "You can't do this!!!" she said. But it was too late, as the attack hit dead-on, completely disentigrating her body. Only her sword was left.

"That's how it's done..." Sean said.


Lolth seemed to be completely protected by her shield. "I have to make this brief. If you want to finish this, come to the Wormhole." That said, she seemed to almost teleport from the battlefield.

"Coward..." Tiaray said, dismissing her dragons. Only the corpse of Lolth's pet remained from the onslaught.


Jodi, Cody, and Crystal continued walking through the city, until all three stopped.

"What is that?" Cody said, as he saw what appeared to be a large hole in the ground.

"It's worse than I thought..." Jodi said.

Crystal looked at the hole and nodded. "It looks like you were right... We were all deceived..."

"Yeah..." Cody said. "Their target wasn't Servitis..."

"It was Ash and Manachu..." Jodi said. "But why them? They aren't as big of a threat..."

"Well..." Cody said. "We might as well go down and see if there's anything left..."

As the trio entered the hole, they carefully climbed down the steep ledges until they eventually came to what appeared to be a metal shaft with a closed hatch on it.

"This..." Cody said. "I don't know how... But... Ash and Manachu definitely escaped..."

"Huh?" Jodi said. "How can you tell? I can't tell what this is."

"We need to go down here..." Cody said, as he began to grin. "You see, the whole scope of this battle just might have turned into our favor..."

Cody looked at the hatch once again, as the symbol of 'NW' was embedded into it.
 
Jodi's Milenilnin Necklace then glowed again. Jodi nodded and said, "Manachu and Ash are ok."

She pointed to the hatch and said to Crystal and COdy to open the hatch.

Crystal then asked, "WHat happening?"

Cody then responed, "She must be doing her telling the future thing. Chezni told me about this. Just do what she says."

THey did as Jodi said and open the hatch.

Superion then defuse back into Sean and Eevee and the sword then returned to its smaller version. "That was a ride." said Sean

A tougth one on the body said Eevee.

Mike then return to his normal form and his pokemon at normal power. "Good job guys. Take a break." He returned them all to their pokeballs. Mike the sat for a while. "Too much"

Chezni then went to Mike and said, "Ok?".Sean follow behind him.

"I be ok. This happens everytime I do that. THis was the second time so I should be ok." said MIke.

Then a blue, green and yellow glow was seen from where each of the girls were defeated. THe glow was coming from the girls fallen weapons. They each said, "You see us again."

"They must have transmute their souls into their weapons." siad CHezni.

The weapons then fell of towards teh direction of Jodi and the others.
 
"... So, what now?" Sean said.

Chezni looked toward the sky. A purple speck could be seen off to the side. "The Wormhole..." Chezni said. "We need to get up there..."

"Ok..." Jodi said. "But there's just one problem. We can't survive in space, let alone get up there."

"I know..." Chezni said. "It just seems like everything's a situation lately..."

"We should find Cody and the others first." came a cold voice from behind the group. Chezni and the others turned to see Elnius and Asmodia standing about 30 yards away.

"... As much as I hate to admit it..." Asmodia said. "Elnius is right. Rushing things won't get us anywhere."

Chezni seemed to chuckle in response to Asmodia's remark. "It's kind of ironic that you said that..."

"Why is that?" Asmodia said.

"Because Elnius is an artificial Pokemon." Chezni replied.

"Are you serious?!" Sean said with surprise. "Elnius looks like a real Pokemon... How can he be artificial, and not a clone?"

"I was originally created in one of the Nova Bases, as the first conpletely artificial Pokemon." Elnius said. "My original purpose was to protect any Nova Warriors or Pokemon Trainers from oncoming threats."

"Direct, and to the point I see..." Sean said. "Well, no matter. It doesn't change the fact that we need to get to that Wormhole."

"Don't worry." Chezni said. "I think Cody's got that covered."

As if on cue, a tremor could be felt by the entire group. After a moment, it subsided, and a very large ship could be seen in the distance. It was white and platinum in color, and had the familiar 'NW' symbol on the front of it. Below the symbol were the words, 'Super Nova'.

"The Super Nova?" Sean said. "It looks different..."

"The second model, actually..." Chezni replied. "We call this one Super Nova Neo."

"Are you there, Chezni?" came the voice of Cody from the Comm-Link on Chezni's arm.

"Yep." Chezni said. "We're ready to go any time."

"Hang on a second!!!" came a voice in the distance. Chezni and the others looked and could see Ash and Pikachu running toward the group. MewTwo was with them.

"Well..." Sean said. "Looks like that's just about everyone..."
 
The group then walked into the ship. Jodi then hugged Ash once he got close to the ship. "Glad you safe just like the vision showed.."

Sean seemed a bit jeouse until COdy informed him, "For awhile we thougth he and Pikachu were died. But We found that he was ok."

After everybody was settle the ship began the shake. Then rose but stilled shook. Soem seemed scared. "Don't worry guys. It just needs to warm up. It still a bit cold." said Cody.

"Glad you ok Sean." said Jodi to Sean.

"Glad you are too." he said back.

"Can you guys focus on the problem at hand?" said Eevee to Sean

The ship then flew toward the wormhole. Chezni then said, "Ok guys. We maynot know what we see once inside the wormhole. Then if we need to escape then we maynot even know where we my end up in. So Cody, leave trail of breadcrums incase we need to escape back to the pokemon world."

"Will do" siad Cody as he puch some buttons.

THey went closer to the wormhole entrance. They saw inside the hole that it was a sprial with many other holes on the side of the tunnel.
 
"It's like one huge purple... thing..." Sean said. "It seems to be pulsating with energy..."

"Yeah..." Chezni said. "It's because this Wormhole is a living being."

"That's one of the things they don't tell you on TV..." Cody said. "Wormholes are living beings, even though they aren't supposed to move..."

"It kind of makes sense..." Jodi said. "They're like aliens..."

"You could say that..." Chezni said.

After a moment, the ship made its way to what appeared to be an island suspended in the Wormhole, itself.

"Wait a second..." MewTwo said. "That's..."

In the center of the island, a building could be seen that fit the description of the Lab MewTwo was born in.

"Yeah..." Ash said. "No question... That's Neo Merkabah..."

"Merkabah..." Chezni said. "Where have I heard that name before?"

{Merkabah - Marduke... In the depths of time and space, it exists everywhere, and nowhere... When it awakens, the true form of the universe will be revealed...}

"... But..." Chezni said. "What does this have to do with..."

"It's the lab I was born in..." MewTwo said. "But... I thought it was destroyed when I..."

"It's possible it was recreated..." Chezni said. "If Zarnon is behind this, it would make sense... But why a lab?"

"That's no ordinary lab..." Sean suddenly said. "Look at the top..."

As the comparibly tiny Super Nova passed over the top of the lab, a shaft of some sort could be seen on the tip. It appeared to be storing energy.

"It's a weapon..." Chezni said. "Is this why?"

Without warning, one of the monitors in the Super Nova switched on. Zarvitis could be seen on the screen.

"Zarnon..." Chezni said. "What do you think you're doing?!"

"Ohh!!" Zarvitis said. "I didn't see you there. You look so small from in here! He he he he!!!!"

"Stop this!" Cody said. "Do you have any idea of the power that lab has?!"

"Of course I do!" Zarvitis said. "Otherwise I wouldn't have dragged it out of oblivion, would I? No... I know EXACTLY what I have here... And you know something? It's all thanks to you! If you hadn't killed me in the Realms, I would've never discovered this!! He he he he he he!!!!"

"What are you talking about?!" Ash said. "You were dead!!!"

"Ahh, that." Zarvitis said. "You see, I was sent to oblivion when I died as well... That allowed me to see many things that were lost in wars of the past... And not only from THIS world... I've seen all sorts of things, from cybornetic organisms, to bombs with enough destructive power to level a city. I've seen it all! And... this, by far, is the most powerful weapon I've EVER encountered! In fact... I believe it is high time for a demonstration... E he he he he he he!!!"

With that, the group could only watch as the lab began sending enormous amounts of energy to the top of it.

"Let's see..." Zarvitis said. "Eenie, meenie, meiny, MOE! Which planet shall be the first to go? Ahh! And I believe this will bring back memories he he he..."

With that, an image of a strange planet appeared on another screen. This planet seemed to be green and blue in color. Other than the fact that a green ring surrounded it, the planet fit the description of Earth's basic layout.

"Moebius..." Chezni said. "Stop it! They've got nothing to do with this!"

"Pfft..." Zarvitis said. "Your 'friends' aren't even ON the planet now... You shouldn't care..."

"But it's their home!!!!" Chezni said. "How would you feel if it were YOUR home?!"

"... I wouldn't care..." Zarvitis said. "Who needs a home world, when you have the power of a God?! Say goodbye to this planet!!"

With that, the tip of the building seemed to fire a concentrated beam in the direction of the planet. And there was no stopping it. The beam struck the planet with full force, piercing its very core. After a few seconds, the planet began to break apart. In an explosion of light and fire, nothing remained except a few scattered pieces. A planet that was once a star in the sky was now dead.

"You bastard..." Chezni said.

"Oh!!! What are you going to DO about it?" Zarvitis said. "Would you like me to destroy another planet? It's really no different from killing one or two people! They're both just as feeble! He he he he!!!"

"Quit it!!!" Ash said. "Quit mocking us!!!"

"Oh, but it's so fun..." Zarvitis said. "... ... Well, it looks like the next planet on the list has a stay of execution... I have to wait for this silly thing to recharge... But it won't be long... Maybe five minutes... Can you just see it? Millions of voices all screaming in unison... Like a chorus of suffering!!! Why don't you stick around? We can enjoy the show together!"

"With all that power, why doesn't he attack us?" Sean said. "I mean, he could destroy us easily..."

"It's the beam..." MewTwo said. "It has an area of effect, just like any attack... It would destroy the lab too..."

"Can you bring up the specifics on that place?" Chezni said.

With a few button presses, Cody managed to pull up a 3-D map of the lab. It seemed to consist of a maze of corridors, but a single pathway could also be seen highlited.

"I'll explain, since I know the area..." MewTwo said. "Neo Merkabah is not only a lab, but a fortress consisting of a maze of corridors and heavy security - robots. Tough bastards too... This path here is the most direct route to the core. Coincidentally, the core is where the triggering device for the primary weapon is located. If we go directly there..."

"We can kill two birds with one stone..." Chezni said.

"Once we disable the core..." MewTwo said. "We'll have to get out of the place in a hurry. It'll collapse within about ten minutes... But when that time comes..."

"... ... I know..." Chezni said.

"What's wrong?" Sean said.

"This Wormhole..." Cody said. "It's the only route to Starlance... The Lab is at the direct center of it... An explosion of the magnitude the Lab is going to cause will likely collapse the Wormhole..."

"That means..." Sean said.

"Cody and I..." Chezni said. "We'll be stuck in your world forever..."

"Why don't you go through the other end of the Wormhole?" Sean said.

"Hmm..." Chezni said. "We would, but there's only one Super Nova... It's either one way, or the other. Either way, someone's getting stranded... I'd rather it be me, here, in a world I know somewhat than you in our System that you're unfamiliar with... It's the logical choice when you think about it..."
 
Jodi and Sean was unsure. They won't want to leave Cody and Chezni strand and unable to return home. Then Mike broke the silence, "CHezni is right. It is more logical to let then be stranded on other world then us on theirs. There is just more of us then them."

Ash nodded and agree. "But first we have to stop him." Ash pointed to Zarvitis and his beam.

"Tick tock, Tick Tock.Time goes by so slow when you are as powerful as me." said Zarvitis.

Hearing that made Sean and Eevee mad. Jodi then siad to Sean, "He doesn't know what he is talking about. Remember the last time you fought him. He didn't believe me when I told him I saw him being destory.

Jodi and Sean remember back ....

Jodi looked at the Millenium Necklace once again. "No..." she said. "It shouldn't have been like this..." The necklace continued to glow. " The Necklace..." Immediately, Asmodeus grabbed Jodi.

"That's not nice!" he said, as he tore the necklace from her and threw it to the ground, shattering it. Jodi smiled at Asmodeus, who simply held her by the shirt with his right hand.

"What did you see?!" Asmodeus said with rage. "Tell me you wench!!!"

"I saw..." she said. "How you die..." Immediately, Asmodeus threw her to the ground. Her body literally bounced off the rocks like a rag doll. She simply laid there facing up with her eyes wide open. A smile still lay across her face.

"It jsut proves what you just said." saod Sean.

"Zarnon is just over confident. Thats all." said Eevee.

Jodi then smiled, "And anyways. You gusy are more powerful then him."

"You saw that in the future?" asked Sean.

"No. I believe it." said Jodi, "I don't have to see it."

Mewtwo then siad, "Ok, I going to teleport you guys in to the compound. From there we are going to start."

"How come you don't teleport them to the core?" asked Crystal.

"Becasue the labortary is made of a alloy that keeps people from teleporting in and out." siad Mewtwo.

"Then we divied up. Some will stay here while the others go in with me and Mewtwo." said Chezni. "I want Jodi, Sean and Eevee to come with us."

"WHy Jodi?" asked Cody.

"Because she and her Millenium Necklace can guide us when we get to the maze." siad Chezni then added, "ANyways you are need to man the ship."

"So who else is going?" asked Sean.
 
Obviously, Ash nodded, as did the rest of the group. It was then that Elnius stepped forward. "We have to hurry. By my calculations, the weapon will be ready to fire again in ten minutes."

With that, MewTwo and the rest of the group gathered in a circle. Lance stood back and watched. "I'll leave this to you." he said. "I'll be waiting here, ready to bail you all out when this is over." With that, he returned to the Super Nova. As he took off, the group was teleported into Neo Merkabah.

The interior had changed greatly since MewTwo was in there last. The mechanical golden stairway to the right of the entrance was now a set of wires that seemed to be going to a triggering mechanism. The double-doors to the Gym area and the stairs going down to the Lab were still there, if a bit discolored. The fountain seemed to be spewing a reddish water instead of normal water like before. A faint scent of fresh blood was in the air as well.

"Is it me, or are ALL demented psycho bases like this?" Chezni said.

"You know..." MewTwo said. "I was beginning to think I was the only one who thought as much."

"Well..." Sean said. "How are we gonna do this?"

"Let's see..." Chezni said. "If I remember my Maps correctly, this is the central area and there are three branching paths from here. One goes to the Lab, one to the um... upward area... And one to the Gym... If I know Zarnon, each path probably has some sort of triggering device that needs to be tripped in order to get to the chamber he's in..."

"Ok..." Sean said. "If that's the case, we should split up... Who's going where?"
 
Jodi's necklace began to glow again. Everybody just stare until she opened her eyes.

"What you saw?" asked Sean

"The stair case will take us to the core. ALso it the the easiest to triger." she said.

"But it makes sense that the core need to be in an open area like the gym. IT also big too." said Ash.

"But that what Zarnon wants us to think." said Chezni. "Good job Jodi."

"The gym area does make sense since it is the bigest area but he wouldn't make it that oviobus. He know that we will go there and thus waste time." said Crystal.

They went up the discolured staircase up to a large opening but it had a large lock-looking device on it.

"It definaly seems like we redecorated when he found it" said Mewtwo.

Then a loud clap was heard. Everybody looked down and saw the red water begining to bubble. Then some of the liquaid started to seep out of the fountin and on to the floor. The red water then took a humanlike form. It was all red and some armor was on the guy. It pointed a red sword at the group.
 
Chezni looked at the armor and at the man. "That's..."

"No doubt about it." Cody said. "That's the Flame Guardian!"

"Flame Guardian?" Sean said.

Chezni began walking toward the armored individual. "Yeah." Chezni said. "I thought they were defeated when we liberated the Chaos Orbs, but it looks like Zarnon had enough power to revive them... There are four in all, Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water. If we can defeat each of them, Zarnon may lose some of his latent abilities."

"So, Zarnon's abilities are tied to these things?" MewTwo said.

"Some of them." Chezni said. "Zarnon has four unique elemental attacks that can devastate even the most powerful warriors in a few blows. But defeating these Guardians will reduce and eliminate the power to use these attacks. It might raise our chances to defeat Zarnon."

"I will take care of this creature." Elnius said. "It is imperative that you reach Zarnon before time runs out. Staying here will only guarantee his success."

Chezni looked toward the door leading to the Gym area. "Yeah." he said. "Good idea." With that, he ran toward the door. Without warning, a black ball of energy struck Chezni, sending him flying into the far wall.

The black ball then settled in front of the Gym door. After a moment, it formed into the shape of Lolth. "So, you made it." she said. "I was beginning to think you had forgotten about us."
 
"Great." said Sean. As he saw the unwanted person.

THe rest took a look at the door. IT had a huge knob on it.

"It likes a safe" said Sean.

"Yes. I can use my telekenistis to move it. I just need the combination." said Mewtwo.

"I can help with that. I just use my necklace to look back in the past and find the combination.

"Ok." Mewtwo nodded.

"Three turns to the left" said Jodi

Mewtwo did as she said.

"Five turns to the right. Raise it up. Then two turns right. Then eight turns to the left." Jodi said.

Zarvitis looked at them thourgh a motitor and said, "Smart."

SOon Serinir and Jade arrived. Tiamat looked at them angry. SHe was still in her human Crystal clone body. "It is becasue of you they finding the combination."

Sernir just shook his head, "HOw you know it was us. It could have been you that they looking at too. You human now so you had to go throught hte door too."

"Humans are so stupid." she just said.

"I not human and nierther is Sernir. I a kaimera." said Jade showing a hairy spider leg and then it disappeared.

"Quit your bickering." said Zarvitis.

"Just bring it down and 10 left turns and it be ready to open" said Jodi.

Mewtwo did as told.

Sean just watch as they work on opening the door.

Jodi then jumped towards Sean and pushed him out of the way from a white orb. The orbed missed by inches from hitting Sean and Eevee.

"What? How? You knew" said Sean

"I saw it in the Necklace." siad Jodi.

Lolth smiled. "Good. Then I kill you too litle girl."

"YOu need to leave." said Crystal. "Let me take care of these guys." As she lefted Chezni off the ground.

Elnius shot a beam at the Flame Guardain.

The Flame Guardian took the hit directly, and seemed to be knocked down. However, the flames on its body began to glow brighter. In fact, the entire room was glowing brighter.

"What a terrible time for a Sunny Day..." Sernir said, as he had one hand raised. It seemed to be lighting the room with pure daylight.

In a matter of seconds, the Guardian was back on its feet. It immediately lunged toward Elnius, grabbing the Pokemon by the arms. Without hesitation, it tossed Elnius into the fountain. With a crash, the stone fountain shattered from impact, as Elnius jumped back up and leapt toward where the Guardian was. Literally landing on the Guardian, steam could be seen coming from both Elnius and the Guardian, and a sizzling sound could be heard. The Guardian seemed to genuinely be in pain.

Meanwhile, Lolth seemed to chuckle. "So, you still think you'll get to the top in time..."

"We will!" Sean said, as Superion charged toward Lolth, knocking her into the wall. Immediately, he formed the two cannons and fired them point-blank right at Lolth. Liquid could be seen coming out of Lolth's damaged spider abdomen, as she winced in pain.

After a few seconds, the Guardian grabbed Elnius by the arm once again. The fiery giant proceeded to slam the Pokemon into the wall repeatedly, as pieces began falling off Elnius' armor. Despite this, Elnius didn't so much as let out a scream. It was as if the Pokemon didn't feel a thing.

"Get away from him, you BASTARD!!!" Chezni said, as he flew toward the Flame Guardian, only to be swatted away by a blue hand. This creature stood the same height as the Flame Guardian and seemed to be made of ice and water. Next to it were two more. A rock golem-like creature, and a creature that was obviously of a wind element.

"The gang's all here..." Sernir said. "Let the games begin."
 
"GO Ahead you guys." yelled CHezni. "Let me and Elnius take care of these guys."

Sean and Eevee defuse and became back to regular. They wanted to stay but Mewtwo pushed them. "YOu heard what the guy said. Go on."

They went through the door only to find a maze. "Great." siad Sean.

Jodi use her necklace again and said, "We need to go foward."

"HOw? THere is a wall there." said Eevee.

"We blast our way thoguh." said Sean. "See. HEre where a burn mark is. It must have recover itself after the blast."

"But who made them?" said Mewtwo.

"NO problum." said Eevee. He then use a LIght Spear attack and destory a part of the maze wall. The rest went thourgh. After a few seconds once everybody went thoguth the wall repaired itself.

Sean then shot a Magic Missil at it and they did the same.

"So who was here before us?" asked Sean. "Sernir?"

Jodu shook her head and siad, "I wish but it seemed to be a person that looks like you but with a black eevee."

"My clone?" said Sean.

"Looks like we may have so vister soon Sernir" said Jade.

"Our little clone boy, Lan? you mean?" said Sernir

"Yep the very kid." said Jade.

"Maybe he will meet his dad in that maze of Zarnon." sad Sernir.

Sean and Eevee blew up an other wall and the others went though.
 
As many walls as the group destroyed, it was as if they were making no progress. After a few moments, Sean began to notice this. "This maze has an end, right?"

"I don't know." MewTwo said. "This maze wasn't in the original version of Neo Merkabah."

"It feels like we're making progress." Jodi said. "Unless this is a hologram of some sort."

"That is possible." MewTwo said. "I've seen Chezni create these with that little bracelet on his arm."


Speaking of Chezni, at that very moment the four Elemental Guardians had him surrounded. Elnius could be seen next to a wall. Despite severe damage to his armor and face, he still got up.

"Yeah. We're not out of this yet..." Chezni said. "Why don't we do this old-school style?"

"I was waiting for you to say that." Elnius said.

Sernir seemed to have a puzzled look about him. "Old-School?" he said. "I'd love to see what you mean."

"You will." Chezni said. "And these four Guardians know what I'm about to do. I defeated them with this last time."

"Oh, really?" Sernir said. "Well, you didn't count on me being here too."

"Those Guardians are from Starlance, right?" Jade said.

"Yeah." Sernir said. "And they're even more powerful than last time!"

"Yeah, see you." Jade said from the direction of the door to the maze. "You're on your own, Sernir!"

"Huh?" was all Sernir said as he noticed Jade fleeing toward the direction of the maze.

Chezni simply held up Eden and grinned. "He knows when he's beat. You see, we're close enough to Starlance... I can tap into the power of OUR Chaos Orbs from here."

"So?" Sernir said. "You did that once, and I defeated you."

"That was nothing compared to this." Chezni said, as his armor seemed to break into pieces and lift off his body. "You see, last time I only upgraded one stage. This time, I'm upgrading by FIVE!!!"

"FIVE?!" Sernir said. "It doesn't matter. You're fighting Gods here!"

"I know..." Chezni said. "Armor of the Lighthawk!!! Shine Forth!!!"

As Chezni said this, his armor was replaced by white armor with blue streaks. In addition, he now had matching gauntlets, boots and gloves. He also had a headband with the symbol of an upside down red triangle overlapping a rightside up black triangle.

"New armor?" Sernir said. "It doesn't matter. I'll kill you here and now! Attack!"

"Shining Sword of Alondight!!!" Chezni said as a glowing blue sword appeared in his right hand. Immediately, the Guardians took a step back.

"What is this?!" Sernir said. "I said Attack!!!"

Chezni was the first to make a move, right toward the Flame Guardian. Swinging his sword, a large cut could be seen in the Guardian's molten skin. It writhed in pain for a moment, and then shattered into millions of pieces.

"How..." Sernir said. "How is it that someone is THIS powerful?"

"Because for every evil being that claims to be a God..." Chezni said. "There will ALWAYS be someone to stand up to him. I do have to thank you though."

"Why?" Sernir said.

"If not for the fact that we're in this Wormhole, I wouldn't have been able to use my full power." Chezni said.

Sernir seemed to scowl in response to Chezni's claim.
 
Sernir had a look of fear in his face. He knew this was going to end soon.

Chezni then touch Elnius with his plam. Then in a flash of light Elnius was healed and had teh same matching armor as Chezni. "Here old friend. NOw let take these guys down."

Elnius nodded and in a matter of seconds the Guardains were destory. Sernir had a look of haterd on his face. "I see you guys later. I have other guest to please right now." He then disappear like a shadow.

Elnius then said, "What yiou think he means by that?"

Chezni then said, "He not. He going after Sean and the others." He and Elnius then ran thought the door that Sean and the others went though.

Jodi then said, "We almost there. I can see the exit with my necklace. We just have two more walls to go though with a clearing before the second one."

"That great." said Sean.

"Yes. This is getting boring anyways" said Eevee.

Mewtwo then nodded. "Let me take care of this one." Mewtwo then made a blue orb and shot the wall. THe wall broke and the others went in to a clearing. They then saw another wall but were stoped by another thing.

They saw Sean's clone and the black clone eevee.

"What you doing here?" said Sean.

"Nice to meet you again." said the clone.

"It Sean's clone. I thought I saw you here." said Jodi.

"The name is Lan. I may be a clone but I was given a name by my creators." said Lan.

THe black eevee jumped on tothe clone shoulder and growled at them. "It is ok. We not here for them today. We have other things to take care of." said Lan.

"Then you are not a guard for Zarvitis?" said Jodi.

"A pretty girl. Now wonder my father loves being with you. Smart too." said Lan. "Of coause I not here working for the wrench. I here to take my revenage on the ones that created me. That blaseted Sernir and Jade. THen Servitis is getting his what."

Sean was unsure about if he should trust him. Sernirthen appeared with Jade by his side. "I see our son had met his father."

"It so touching to see them together spending time." said Jade.

"You!!" said Lan. "I not here for games. I here for your heads."

"Watch your month. THat is no way to speak to your makers. We rasied you better then that. How about you play with one of Jade's creations." said Sernir.

The maze around them then rose up and formed a stomach like covering around Sean and the others.

"I hope you like being in a belly of this golem." Siad Jade. He will find you tastly."

"Now we leave to meet with our lord." siad Sernir disapppearing into a shadow portal.
 
"No..." MewTwo said. "I should've seen this coming..."

"What's wrong?" Sean said.

"This isn't a building at all..." MewTwo continued. "It's a Chimera..."

"A WHAT?!" Jodi said.

"A Chimera is a creature - usually a person or an animal that had experiments performed on it." MewTwo explained. "Often the experiments last for several years. What you see around you is the result."

As he finished, the room began taking an odd shape. It appeared to be a stomach with a large eye set into the middle of it.

"You mean..." Jodi said. "Team Rocket and those scientists from Cinnibar... created things like THIS?!"

MewTwo simply nodded in response, as Eevee began glowing. In a second, he became Shoeon.

"I think we need to take care of this thing now." Shoeon said.

"You're right." Sean said. "Something like this shouldn't exist..."

"... I'll help you with this one." Lan said. "But just to let you know, this doesn't make us allies. Once this whole situation is over, so is our alliance."

"That's fine." Sean said. "Maybe after this whole thing is over, I'll take a vacation. What do you think, Shoeon?"

"Fine, but let's kill the monster first." Shoeon said in a hurry, as he began powering up.
