what is chaining or whatever?

My definition, the systematic method of encountering the same Pokemon over and over with the Pokeradar to eventually encounter a shiny. If you encounter any other Pokemon, the chain will break, meaning the chance of a shiny encounter returns to 1/8192.

Each time you beat a Pokemon, the shiny ratio increases, not a lot but a bit. Once you get a chain to 40 and up, the ratio is 1/200.
