    Hi there!

I just started hacking Pokémon Fire Red and I figured out a lot of stuff on my own. But there's something I can't figure out.. I changed the protagonist to a completly new sprite and it works fine, but everytime I use "Fly", he turns back to his old self during the flying sequence.

Please tell me how to change that, I just can't find the right sprites to edit...

(Can't show you a picture, because I'm new here and I can't post links...)

    Those sprites should be at:

    Frame 0 - male character: 39DBC8
    Frame 1 - male character: 39E3C8

    Frame 0 - female character: 39EBC8
    Frame 1 - female character: 39F3C8

Frame 2 - both male and female: 39D3C8

The palette is at 35B968; I believe it's the same palette used for all the hero OW sprites, so if you've already changed that it should be correct already. They're all 8x8. Put those numbers into NSE 2.x (under Navigate) and you should be good to go! All for FireRed BPRE 1.0 English.

(These are the sprites of the player actually flying. If you're looking for the frames where he/she pulls out the Pokeball, let me know and I'll find those offsets.)

Oh my god, thank you sooo much! I was searching for hours by now.. I've used NSE, NSE Classic, unLZ, and a ton of other tools, but I couldn't find those sprites. x_x
May I ask how you find them? Just in case. ^^

(And no, I already changed the pokeball-animation by myself. That one was easy to find with NSE Classic. But thanks anyway. ^^)

No problem! Unfortunately, I don't have a great method of finding them - I was lucky enough that they were already bookmarked in the copy of NSE 2.1 I downloaded.

Oh.. Do you remember, where you downloaded your version of NSE 2.1? This sounds very useful! :D
