Changing the default text color

I'm trying to change the color of the text but i don't how.
My windowskin is translucent green, and with a black text I can't see anything.

Is there anyway I can change the text color to White?
I've tried putting "\c[8]" before the text but there are still black text in battles and events where the player gets an item etc.

I'd just like to bump this as something I too have personally wondered, what section of code controls all the colour schemes for text?

Look in the script section SpriteWindow or something like that I believe. I can't check right now but it is right above the Pokebattle scripts. It should be easy to figure out from there. It's in the beginning part of the script.
