[Other] Changing when evolutions happen

    Hello,
    I'm pretty new to ROM hacking and I haven't been able to find any discussions on how to change the level at which certain Pokemon evolve I was also wondering how to switch Pokemon that evolve by trading to evolve by leveling up. Any help is appreciated, even if you could just point me to a thread that answers this question.

    I believe any Pokémon Editing Program should be able to do it.
    I use PGE. But it does have a reputation for messing up certain things in a ROM.
     
    Either PGE like PokeChu mentioned or Gen III Hacking Suite can help with this. Both are pretty decent tbh and fairly user friendly.
    Just always keep a back up of your ROM just in case.

    Which is good practise anyway
