Chansey's Egg?

    I've noticed, with the pokemon we all know, the big pink pokemon chansey, that it always caries this little egg around in its pouch, but it never hatches. I've seen things like softboiled and other various things to do with the egg, but it never hatched. Any Ideas/Thoughts?
     
    I don't think it's an actual egg...since maybe Chansey's are born with that egg in its pouch.
     
    True.... it could be some Egg that not actually a Pokemon egg... >>
    Could be something magical or something.... In Super Smash Bros. it recovers your health! XD
     
    Yeah, because if you softboil something, I think you would eat it... so if it were a pokemon egg, would chansey be a cannible?

    That would be kinda weird. A friendly pokemon such as chancey, turns out to be a cannible. What I'd like to see is people in the actual pokemon animated series do an episode or something on it ^_^
     
    Chansey's Egg is not a Pokemon Egg, otherwise, it would have a design on it like other Pokemon Eggs. It might be the equivelant to the eggs you find at the store or something.
     
    Oh, ok. I see. But when you breed two chanseys you get an egg right? Well isnt it possible they could be mixed up? Then it goes bye bye mr. baby chansey. Unless the chanseys are that stupid, I agree with you ^_^

    Ya, true, true. Otherwise, in the R/B/Y days, we would've wondered, "Hey, what are those weird designs on Chansey's egg?" :)
     
    The pokédex says it's very nutritional or something, I think maybe they are just unfertilised eggs, and their trainers can take them and eat them, and the Chansey would probably just produce another, till another Chansey came along, and impregnated it? Is that a word?

    Actually, you'd probably get a transexual Chansey, considering that Chansey are only female.

    You know how in movies and cartoons how people cook eggs on the sidewalk when its hot? well maybe the egg got cooked in the pouch like that or something?! LOL!
     
    Well if any of you have played Super Smash Bros., then you'd know that sometimes Chansey's egg would erupt as a bomb or have healing powers, etc. I doubt this is what would "really" happen with it's egg, I just thought I'd point it out. XD

    Anyway, I agree with King Shuckle, I think Chansey's egg is more closely related to a regular egg that you'd buy at a grocery store or something. Either that, or since Chansey are supposed to be good luck, maybe its egg is some sort of lucky charm or something. X3~
