Thousands of years ago, Chaos stalked the planes. Not the force of anarchy, but somehing much much worse. A being of malevolence, of hatred. Sadistic, cruel, and to make it worse, intelligent. A reality demon known as Chaos. By all appearances, he wasn't more than a human. The last mistake you'd make with him. The planes lived in terror of him, of what he might do. Armies were defeated by him with a thought. The Pantheon of the Gods itself fell to his might.

Finally, his power was locked away by a being known as the Author. Their battle raged for years, both finally taking their ultimate forms. To seal Chaos away, the Author was forced to sacrifice much of his own power to the seal. It was thought that seal would hold forever and the planes rejoiced as peace returned.

The wars of Chaos have now passed into the realm of myth. On the Common Plane, a dimension shared by beings from all the planes imaginable, an archeological dig has discovered an intresting monument buried deep underground. The leader reaches out to touch his discovery, a statue of a disturbing being. Leathery, draconian wings jut from his back, along with a pair of tentacles, writing as if in pain. The tall, well-muscled form seems to be screaming in agony. As the leader makes contact with the stone, the flashes black, then white and simply ceases to be. The statue form now lives. It changes to the form of a tall, handsome man with a pleasent smile on his face. He whispers "Thank you" before the massacre begins. He walks from the dig site covered in blood. His lust is far from satiated, though. It never is. Chaos has returned to the planes.

    Rules:
    -I must approve your character.
-I reserve the right to eject you for poor RPing, or failure to stick to the plot.
-Keep in mind, you are up against an ultimate power that desires nothing but to see you in pain, and then, dead. You're not gonna beat him the first time you fight.
-Your character can come from anywhere, any dimension from whatever game, book, movie, whatever.
-In addition to my own character, I will play the Author when he comes up. No one else may play his part.

    Approved.

    Name: Eka Altima
    Age: 36
    Race: Human
    Gender: Male
Appearance: A rogue jedi, he dresses in a black robegreen tunic with a white undertunic, brown leggings and black boots. He stands about six feet tall with prematurely gry hair grown past his shoulders and pulled back into a slim tail with a silver fastening. The silver choker he wears is a gift from his dead apprentice. He keeps two lightsabers on his belt, clipped to each side.
Abilities: Force-sensitive, obviously. He is well-beyond skilled with the Light Side and is somewhat adept at the Dark. He's equally proficient with the use of either a single saber or dual saber, moving at blinding speed with either style.
Personality: The death of his apprentice hardened him to almost everything in the world. He's grizzled and bitter, preferring to remain emotionally distant from everyone. Whe believes also that the force should be totally balanced and that there is no true Dark or Light side, only arbitrary divisions. Underneath the gruff exterior, though, there's still a remanant of the passionate, caring and just Jedi Master who fought for his own beliefs.
History: Eka was expelled from the Jedi Order over a dispute over the role of the Dark Side and how Younglings and Padawans were to be educated about it. His loss was mourned, he showed great promise as a Jedi, having been placed on the council at 24. After storming out of the Temple, he went into a self-imposed exile near Naboo until he found a Force-sensitive girl, a little younger than he. He took her training upon himself and she showed great promise. The two also shared a romantic relationship until he returned from a mission one time to find the door of their home ajar. Their quarters had been ripped apart and his apprentice was slowly dying. He fufilled her last request when he took one of his lightsabers, placed the unlit end over her heart, and ignited it, ending her suffering. Since then, he's retreated from the glactic struggles of his own plane and has moved to the Common Plane to lead as quiet an existance as he may.

The one distintive mark is a cresent shaped scar on his left cheek.

MSG, just add some more detail to your appearance and personality and you're good.

    Name: K'tol

    Age: 21

    Race: Elementalist [White Elf]

    Gender: Male

Appearance: K'tol has the familiar elf look as those found in Middle Earth. His white elven ancestory gives him an almost albino skin tone, standing out against his green tunic and black pants. A large long bow is strapped to his thigh, along with a quiver of pheonix-fletched arrows on his back. Brown boots made of dragon hide protect his feet from most physical attacks. His bleached hair is just a little more blonde in colour than his pure white skin and is cut into a shaggy look, going down just past his ears.

Abilities: He is an Earth Elementalist, and controls plants, trees, shrubs, etc. At his will, plants will spring from almost anywhere. His touch has healing properties and he is more durable than normal mortals. Teleportation is a skill he uses rarely, as it depletes his energy more rapidly than anything else.

Personality (optional): K'tol by nature is kind. When angered though, he'll stop at nothing to gain vengence and can lose his temper quickly. His personality holds the virtue of friendship in a high place, so he'll never desert some he cares for.

History (optional): K'tol grew up with his brother, a Dark Elf (Laupe). They're almost exact opposites and have grown stronger because of it. When Laupe turned evil, K'tol vowed to save him but has yet to find a way how to. Defeating evil is one small step towards his goal.

    Other information (optional): None.

Katsuro, approved, MSG, still, a little more detail would be nice. Like specific details on how your character dresses, more than just "green." What style of clothes, does he have weapons, if so, wht kind and where are they stored, etc. etc.

Not trying to be impatient, but how many members are we going to wait for? And are we all going to be just massacred by this obvious demi-god character of yours?

actually, five members is a good number for this. And no, we're not all going to be absolutely slaughtered. After all, that wouldn't be very fun? :P I don't want to give away too much of the plot, though.

It might be fun for you ^_~ So will we be railed to the plot or is there room for offshoots?

There's some room for branching. A lot of it, in fact. I don't like over-controlling an RP. But we do have a specific goal in mind.

<OOC>MSG, approved. *cracks knuckles* Let's get this party started!<OOC>

I was back in my bedroom when I heard the knock. I was grateful, truth be told. My sleep was light tonight, and far from restful. I rose from my bed and pulled on an undertunic and leggings before entering the foyer and living area of my modest apartment. The visitor knocked again. Yawning, I finished pulling the undertunic on and opened the door. The military uniforms unnerved me a bit. I wasn't any truly extrordinary citizen anymore, I'd given up the ways of the Force. Still, I said politely "Can I help you, Captain..."

"Nghbumaru, Master Altima." he replied formally, bowing. I was surprised by the use of the honorific, it was one I hadn't heard in a long time. I was about to correct him on the point when he added "We find ourselves in need of your... Expertise, Master Altima. A score or so of men were found killed today." I nodded and said "I see. A pity, then. I won't be assissting." I turned and began to close the door when he said "They were killed in the same manner that you described to the Galactic Peacekeeping Force when reporting the murder of your apprentice." I stiffened and stopped before saying "Give me five minutes to collect my things." The captain nodded.

<OOC> I was killing myself over that description, must've had writer block<OOC>

I was remembering things again, the death of my father, Rihani, Ch... "NO!" I told myself to stop going. A slight rap on the door alerted me, "Wait a minute!" I got dressed swiftly, and opened the door. "Here's your meal, oh and this letter. I received it from a military officer." the maid said bowing. "Thank you..." I murmured not quite awake yet. She bowed again and left. Shutting the door I tore open the letter

    Sir,
We need you to report to this location marked on the map enclosed.

That was all, interesting I thought, why the military would refer to me as "sir".
Gathering my stuff I left the inn, and headed south to the location marked on the map.

Akemi sighed, gazing up at the moon from a rooftop. The tiny one-room house was her own, one she had built only for temporary shelter. It was located on the outskirts of a small town, one of the few that acctually welcomed her. Tonight was a strange night. The stars were dimmer than usual, there was no wind, no sound of small animals scurring through the night... Something was happening.

"Akemi!! I know you're up there!!" Said a child's voice, breaking the silence of the night.

"What is it, Avayla?" Akemi asked jumping off her roof.

The young girl took Akemi's hand and dragged her towards the village, speaking quickly and excitedly. "There've been reports of deaths all over, and this team of scientist were found dead, and the village wants you to come and-"

"Whoa, slow down!! People dying? Don't people always die?" Humans certainly died faster than Demons or Half-Demons.

    "These were on purpose, genius!!"

    "So?"

    "So?! We need your help!!"

Akemi rolled her eyes. "Fine. Its probably some wild animal or something." She didn't realise until later how wrong she was.

In truth, I was ready much faster than my five alotted minutes. I'd hurridly pulled on my tunic and boots, taken my robe from the closet, tied my hair back, and clipped my lightsabers to my belt. After a moment's thought, I reverently lifted my apprentice's choker from its place on the mantle and fastened it around my neck. Returning to the central room, I nodded to the captain and followed him out. At the pace I was walking at, he and his small contingent of soldiers were forced to jog to adaquately guide me to the site.

Upon my arrival, I was shocked, to say the least. The underground chamber and the bodies were in precisely the same state as Triennia and out quarters had been in. I had to fight from unleashing a blast of Force Lightning upon everything in the area simply because of the rush of emotion flooding through me. I fought down the impulse, though.

"What information can you give me about this?" I demanded of the captain in a harsh tone.

"Patience, master Jedi." he replied, a little taken aback by my tone of voice. I smiled inside my hood. He must not be used to being ordered around like that. He added "There are a few others we are expecting."
