6th Gen Character Avatars on PSS

    So every now and again I will come across a passerby, acquaintance or friend on the PSS that won't have their custom character's avatar representing them. Instead, these people will have character from the game such as the Elite Four Members and Gym Leaders as their avatar. Does anyone know what this is all about?
     
    It's an option you can change after you've defeated the Elite Four. You can be any of the Gym leaders, Elite Four, or trainer classes.
     
    You go to your Profile page, then click on your name, and then chose Public Icon.

    I personally use my own character avatar, I love the hats ^^
