    Which character do you hate, and why?

    I would have to say i hate the battle frontier guy, bad hairdo, bad attitude, bad clothes, and most of all, a kiddie gun.
     
    Yes, Emerald's stupid! :dead:
    I so hoped Wally would be the hero of the emerald saga but, NO :disappoin
    They had to come out with this strange alien-thingy-guy :cross-eye
     
    I don't really dislike any characters... Emerald's just plain weird... kiddie gun... thingie... and that hairdo... it's... weird...>>
     
    All the main characters. Ever.

    Gym Leaders are apparently doomed to remain overlooked due to the likes of Silver, Blue and Red....-____-
     
    Eh, I hate Gold and Eemrald for some reason. The reason for Emerald has been said too many times, but for Gold, it's that bad attitude he has.
     
    I have to agree, really, but Gold isn't bad, just that he has a vigilante fashion to whatever he does.

    He catches bad guys for popularity. So he's one of my least likeable characters. The other one is emerald, the author really made a bad mistake on that one..... sigh...
     
    Hm...I don't really hate Emerald, but I don't like him either. He's just too weird... :dead:
     
    Aww, I like Emerald. Probably just because he's so eccentric.
    I don't really dislike any of the characters though, Crystal seemed a bit boring, but that's it. +shrugs+
     
    I like Gold. But i absolutely dont like Ruby. Hes too calm.
     
    I can't stand Blue (female) in the RBG, and the Y series. She's a complete b*tch in the RBG, and she expects people to do things for her. Also, the reason she gave for stealing Professor Oak's Squirtal was PATHETIC! "I wanted to be a trainer from Pallet Town, too!". God... She flirts way too much. And she dresses like a scank. In the Y Saga, she blamed Lance for her "kidnapping" and almost had Silver kill him.

    It also really annoyed me when Red was helping her in the RBG Saga, she was wearing his bloody badges on her ears! What nerve! And she gave Red fake badges. And... Oh, god... I could go on forever. I don't mind her in the GSC, or FR&LG Sagas, but I still can't stand her.

    I pretty-much like the rest of the main characters. Red and Green are cool (LATER ON), unlike Blue who never changes. Gold is funny, but a selfish and annoyed moron, Silver is cute, but I don't really like him anymore than Blue, Crystal is stupid and borring, Ruby is funny, but he doesn't know the meaning of "beauty comes from the inside!", Sapphire can be annoying, Wally is cute and nice, but a little whimpy, Emerald is mean and insane, but he's pretty cute.

    And, that's it. (I can't stand Misty in the RBG, Y Sagas), ugly and bad tempered. Just like the Anime. At least she changed that in the Manga, though.
     
    Yellow and Lance. I could go ON and ON about why they are the most abominable Pokemon characters ever. Most of you have already heard me, though. And so far no one's found a good rebuttal. Still waiting.

    Yellow: Everyone loves her because she's the cute, adorable, innocent angelic Sue with SPECIAL PWRZ. (Yellow, meet Hikari Kamiya, Kisara, and Cheza.)

    Lance: Everyone loves him because he's the brooding bad@$$ bishie with SPECIAL PWRZ, a chip on his shoulder, and a "noble" cause. (Y'know, Hitler thought he was making the world a better place, too...)

    Can we say, BORING TWO-DIMENSIONAL STEREOTYPES, people? Then again, the reason why those character archetypes have become so overused, predictable, and stereotypical is because story writers found that people liked 'em and so they reused them over and over again through the years...

    Oh, I don't mind (and even somewhat support) Grantedshipping, because those two together means that they won't be paired with better characters. Yellow and Lance should just get married and isolate themselves in Viridian Forest for the rest of their lives and produce a whole litter of Viridan-blessed children who can spend their lives playing with all the nice little Pokemon in the forest.

    Yeah, but Hiltler was ugly. Lance is cute. That adds to their top-score. ^_<

    I really hope Lance and Yellow get together, too. But not get kicked out of the story! Maybe they'll get married and then kill Giovanni.

    Note: I forgot to add Giovanni to my hate list. Reasons: Giovanni is a CHEATER. He hides behind his Beedrill, and he's too fat. Mato's style of him wasn't very good. But he doesn't look too bad in the FR&LG series. I really hope him and Lance can meet up again. Hmmm...

    Understand that those sterotypes are usaully necessrary for the storyline. Understand that no team is complete without an innocent guy/girl turned monstrus killer of humanity, blahblahblah, or some enviroment haters who are not unwilling to sunder the world to quarantine the infection(Us, humans)

    sorry for younding like a whining teacher with nothing better to do then to discredit your ranting spree. But I really think the world would benefit from those Mary Sue sterotypes. Whatever they mean.

    Don't get upset, Ilrery Cyciga. Some people may not like Lance, but a lot of people do, too. ^_^

    I'm not spamming, dear. Although I may "spam" more just because I find the naive idealism evident in your replies rather amusing. It takes an idealist to enjoy 2-dimensional characters, especially those of Yellow and Lance's extreme archetypes. You (and all the rest of the Yellow fans) would probably enjoy reading Pamela by Samuel Richardson. Pamela = most famous 18th century Canon Sue, and one of the most famous literary Sues of all time. I, for one, would prefer to read Henry Fielding's parody entitled Shamela.
