Charizard VS Snorlax

Based on the 'power' in the anime,if ash's charizard happens to have a battle with ash's snorlax,who wil win it?Discuss ^^

My money is on Snorlax. Why, you ask?

Well for one, Charizard can't use one of his strongest attacks on Snorlax: Seismic Toss. Remember the Silver Conference, when he tried to pull off that move on Gary's Golem, and it failed? Professor Oak said something along the lines that Golem's weight was second only to Snorlax. Thus, no Seismic Toss.

Charizard's flame thrower can be blocked by Protection, and as Snorlax demonstrates during a Battle Frontier episode, he can use that move.

Charizard's main advantage is obviously his ability to fly, so Snorlax would either have to repeatedly use Hyper Beam (which takes time to recharge sometimes, depending on the episode you watch) which Charizard could easily dodge, or wait for Charizard to come in closer to perform a Body Slam of Mega/Ice Punch (Snorlax has used both types in the past).

Charizard's Dragron Rage attack could probably be stopped with a Hyper Beam, so it would never hit (although the force of the explosion would probably still do damage to both).

It would be a long battle, that's for sure, because both Pokemon have demonstrated amazing endurance in battle, but I think Snorlax just has too many ways he could block or stop an incoming attack from Charizard.

That's all just my opinion though, and I'm not really that impartial either (Snorlax is one of my favorite Pokemon). :)

You know, I say Charizard, I haven't had a second's thought but I don't know much about their moves.

Charizard...Ash's Charizard is pretty strong....
Also theres the fact that I like him more then Snorlax.
Although reguardless I still think Charizard would win

Ashs Charizard is strong but Snorlax is to slow. But Snorlax may have a little chance if Charizard couldnt fly.

Charizard is his strongest, so he would win. He's also his coolest. His Snorlax is pretty strong too though.

I hate the the shows are technically incorrect. In the Show, Charizard would win using a bunch of Flamethrowers and just flying around while Snorlax keeps missing with Hyper Beams. In the game and on NB, Charizard wouldn't last more than 2 turns. I also find it rediculous that Dragon Rage and Hyper Beam can turn into a stalemate.

I picked Snorlax too...Because Charizard MAY have it's fancy fire attacks, but what good are they if Snorlax has Hyperbeam...And usually Snorlaxs know how to use Rest...So wouldn't it just keep recovering anyway...And then they know Snore...and I think Yawn too right?....Yeah, Snowlax would win! ^^

I choose Charizard, the only thing I like from Snorlax is that it evolves from Munchlax.
