Chat not working?

Do you get any pop up boxes asking you if it's okay to run something and then a pop up box that asks if you want to block a potentially unsafe program from running? If so, how many boxes do you get, what questions does each one ask (in order), and what are the answers you choose for thes questions? I think you're blocking the Java chat from running without realizing you are.
