Check out my Pokemon Website

It's fine.

Hmm. I don't like their system though. If you're bent on getting a free host, go with Bravenet. They allow you to have multiple sites and are very CSS, PHP and HTML friendly.

the site is a good start, go knows its better than anything I could make! But it needs a purpose, it feels like it was created just for the sake of.

Its kind of inferior making a site on Freewebs, it's a start, I have actually done much better when I was in grade 4 not to be offense but hey, everyones different just keep working at it ^^

Really? Same here!

Anyway, Pokemon157, your first priority is to better your graphic skills. A good way to start is getting Adobe Photoshop CS2, which is made for that kind of thing. Paint is terrible; don't use it. Then you can work from there. Second priority is to get out of freewebs and, at the very least, upgrade to bravenet if not get your own domain or a better subdomain that comes with a FTP account..

get paint.net.... its better than paint.. i give your site -1000000000/10

What I meant is as your site gets bigger and better youd want to learn and find a host that supports CSS and PHP.

Whenever a webmaster starts with a Freewebs site, I always see this comment.

"Get a better host that supports PHP." or "Learn PHP and get a better host."

Why can't it be "Learn Perl and get a better host."? *cries*

And for your information, site owner, Freewebs supports CSS. ALL HOSTS support CSS. A host that doesn't isn't a host.

I think that's a N00BiSh work. If you look at a famous a site (*CoughSerebii.netCough*), you can see the difference.

Please don't randomly call new sites "noobish" work, because I'm starting to think you haven't seen real noobish work.

Now, as for your site, it needs work with the banner only, in my opinion. I can easily make you a logo to match with the layout. Plus, I also think you should start using SSI, Freewebs supports it, in case you're not sure about it supporting SSI.

If you need help getting SSI set up, just ask us and we'll help, or I can help you personally. PM or IM, whichever you think may be best. Also, using an iframe to embed your board was pretty cool for a moment, but then it just resulted annoying, because if you're gonna show the iframe entirely, I'd just give them the actual board URL.

but you need a nice layout so people will be atractted to it people don't care how much content there is if it hurts to look at it.

They don't get attracted to your layout they get attracted to your content. My site always sometimes has good layouts and some times i dont it doesnt mean anything, when i had bad layouts i still had the same amount of visits as i did with the nice layouts.

I think you didn't notice that Pokemon157 changed the layout since my post. I'm not randomly calling new sites " Noobish ". I know what's a Noobish site. A Noobish site has a poor quality, overall. The site that Pokemon157 made was clearly a Noobish site. Reasons bellow.~

On Pokemon157's first creation of this site, he had:

#1. [S-HIGHLIGHT]A link to Serebii's Pokedex. This means that Pokemon157 didn't took the time to create his own Pokedex. I would call that lazyness.[/S-HIGHLIGHT]

#2. [S-HIGHLIGHT]Poor quality. The background was really bad. The banner was a simple edit in the program Paint which is not known to make perfect banners.[/S-HIGHLIGHT]

#3. [S-HIGHLIGHT]Random Links. Normally, in a good site, you don't see random links all around the site. [/S-HIGHLIGHT]
