The link right away is for those of you too lazy to read my excuses to why I don't like it... it's a rant that comes natural to artists when they talk about their work. x3 Anyway... I drew this over the course of a few days over March break after 1 AM when I would be booted off to my room every night (it's too early!! ._.) I didn't play FFX very much during my break because I was playing the games my brother got for his birthday. The only reference I had was the little guide booklet that comes with the game. And... for everyone who has this or has seen it, there are only 3 pictures of Tidus and a few action figures in it. Therefore, I had almost nothing to work off of. (That explains why the colours are all messed up in most places... I had no idea what they were, so I guessed.)
That said, I like the expression on his face, but I don't like the proportion of the body. I know it's chibi, so the head is supposed to be larger than normal, but it just doesn't look right. ._.;; The shading is all wrong too... and you can easily pick out where I accidentally pressed too hard or something when blending the colours. And I'm pretty sure I got his eye colour wrong, too. o_O; It should be blue, if I'm not mistaken. ._.;
I don't know why I ask for comments and critiques because I seem to do that to myself very well. But nonetheless... *cough* anything's welcome. o.o
