2nd Gen Chikorita

I always choose Chikorita. ^^ Meganium's just one of my all-time favorite Pokemon, and the only Grass starter I like, even if Falkner and Bugsy are incredibly tough with it.

Blegh, I always disliked Chikorita, however, when I found out about Meganium, I went crazy and chose Chikorita the second time around.

I picked Totodile on Crystal and Cyndaquil on Silver.

Silver was the fourth pokemon game I ever played- being my third "catch and train pkmn" game and my second portable pkmn game- and my first 'gbc' game. (if that makes sense...)

I liked Cyndaquil and Totodile, but for some reason, Chikorita caught my eye. I picked it, and it was my loyal companion until I started the game over. (besides, I just catch a Pidgey to deal with Falkner... O_o) I don't normally pick grass starters, but Chikorita has always been very special to me.

Actually, the first time I played I did choose Chikorita, but I could barely do well against the johto gyms with it so I just restarted it and chose Totodile instead. Its just easier to beat the game with it than the other 2 starters. Thats just MY opinion though...

Yep, I love my Chikorita to death. After that, I got all the starters via cloning, Cyndiquil, then Totodile.

Totodile was my first ever pokemon, I must say. Then it was Cyndaquil on my Gold, then it was a Chikorita on my Crystal. I was so happy because I actually got a female starter. Though it is hard to start with the Leaf Pokemon in the G/S/C generation because of the gyms, it just helps you build up a team and not just focus on your starter. (Which, I'm sure everyone did at one time or another...)

I have never chose Chikorita. It just looks weird and is a lame starter (in MY opinion) Totodile is the best out of all 3 and i love Totodile i had a Lv 100 Totodile in my Gold. But then i caught my first Larvitar and trained it too a Tyranitar and fell in love with Tyranitar so now it is my favorite of all Pokemon

when i had silver i used cyndaquil, but after getting crystal i used totodile. Totodile rocked, because feraligatr was the coolest looking
Never used chicorita, it was horribly weak

PC just ate my post, so I'll give you the short version:

No, I chose Cyndaquil, partly because I thought it was cute and partly because I did a bit of research and realized Fire could blitz earlier Gyms more efficiently than Water and Grass could.
