3rd Gen Chimecho

Ahh.. Chimecho the so called Legdendary.. Back in 2002 there was confusion about where an how to catch it. Chimecho is a simple pokemon to catch.Just go to Mt. Pyre during the PM Hours and your chances of finding it will increase by 40%.

It doesn't matter what side it's on because I caught it on the left in ruby, and imakuni, it doesn't matter if you have it how rare it is. i have it, heck, I have them all, but I still know the rarity of my pokemon. He is one tough booger to catch. I found it easiest to just sit still and use sweet scent to appear, and he was the second to last pokemon I caught(not counting jirachi) so it's nothing to yawn about. Those who ahve him are extremely lucky. Myself included. :D

Chimecho is the sixth rarest pokemon the first five are Latias Latios Jirachi Deoxy And Feebas.I just happen to have them all and I got them the old fasioned way by taking hours out of my time to find them. It took me seventeen hours to find Jirachi but I know where they are found and thats a whole different story.

Jirachi is impossible to be caught in the wild and end of story... let's not be spreading rumors within a faq thread. Save those imagination for the rumor section of PokeCommunity ^_^; There is absolutely no way you can catch Jirachi within the game without cheating devices, regardless of the time you spent looking for one.

Why would it be impossible to catch one? And how good is this thing anyway?? And what do you mean Heal bell?

Jirachi is a Nintendo Promotional Pokemon so how can you "catch" one? Lol...

Heal Bell is the only thing that makes Chimecho useful to me... Heal Bell is a very powerful move that can heal the status effect of all Pokemon on your team. Whatever Chimecho can do, someone else will do it better, except for heal bell as there are limited aromatherapy/heal bell user.

Hm... it is pretty ugly too.
Hey, how could you say that? I think that Chimecho is adorable! ^_^

just use delcatty with assist, heal bell, double edge, and a filler move and ur set

I'm looking for one right now. I'm looking at both sides of the orbs. I've seen about 20 Duskulls, but not it WAAAH!

I think Chimecho isn't that hard to find.. and it isn't that strong either

GUYS GUYS!!??!?
Ok its on left or right but do u guys mean on the top of mt. pyre?!?!?

I caught it, but decided it wasn't worth training...i think i've changed my mind!

I have 3 chemico's
they all appear in the summit of mt. pyre.
I didn't even mean to find 'em I was training my gardevoir there, they ghost pokemon give pretty decent sp def stats
(ruby) they're pretty rare.
I dunno if they're strong though, just caught 'em, I wanna complete the pokedex.

They are actually quite strong. In particular they have very high HP for a Psychic type. As always though, don't rely on them to do your physical bidding.

Still, they learn Psychic and Heal Bell, and can be taught Shockwave. Quite handy.
