Chobits: The Town With No People

    This town is empty.
    There exists many houses that shine lights that you can see through the windows.
    But there is no one in the streets.
    I peeked through the window into the house.
    And there were people.
    But they were with it.
    I saw other houses too.
    And I knew they'd also be with it.
    Because it is fun to be together like that...
    Because it is more fun rather than people...
    No one will come outside anymore.
    This town is empty.

    I am going to travel.
    So that I may be able to see other towns.
    Only thinking that someone might be able to find me.
    But if I can have just a person for myself...
    A person who can love only me...
    Then that person and I...will be separated when the time comes.
    Even so...I...want to meet this person of mine.
    Only thinking about that, I go to the town with no people.

    That is one of the saddest and most depressing things I ever read (heard when I saw the episode with it in it) in my entire life. Its really deep though, isn't it?
     
    It's also scary because it's in the form of a children's book. =X

    That is depressing, but in retrospect, so is that section of the anime. I mean, finding that it was talking about Chii and her relationship to the world and especially Hideki... the realization is sad in itself.
     
    well ya but still it's strange seeing as how....














    Chi was proven to be human

    I don't remember that at all and I watched the entire series. ._.;; I was under the assumption that Chii was still a Persocom, but she had an A.I. program that allowed her to learn about feelings and stuff (or something like that). =\ But that doesn't explain why she was crying in the final episode. ._.; Maybe I missed something?
     
    read the manga you have to read it reall good but it turns out

    Ah... okay. I guess it's explained in the 8th volume? I've read all of them except that one because the bookstores around me don't seem to like stocking the final volume of manga. (Love Hina #14? Never there. Chobits #8? Never there. >_> Idiots.)
     
    My bookstore has the Volume 8 of Chobits, but I didn't bother to get it last time I was there :D...maybe I will now...
     
    Other then the fact the content is for 16 yrs+ (well I'm 15... but that's close enough)

    The Town With No People scares me... but it's about Chi/Dark Chi(or what ever her name was)......

    Chobits is the best ^_^
     
    her name was frya...and the ratings really dont matter i was reading chobits when i was still 13
     
    I thought Chi's name was Elda. What would I know? I'm only on the fifth volume!! :)
    My mom found out what it was rated, she didn't do much to me...:)
    And by the looks of this....

    Still my parents do give a didly about what i read or see as long as it aint porn...why? Becuse i work and pay for my stuff.
     
    blue, I just said that in the post above yours. x_x;; Please pay a little more attention when posting, okay? But anyway, I'm kinda in the same situation. As long as I don't bug them for money, my parents don't care what I read. =P
