You are playing as the beginning trainer in this story.
Together with other posters, I will give you narrated story and end it with a multiple choice set. You must vote for whatever one you wish to occur.
The first one to have three votes or have the most votes after 24 hours will be the one used for the next narrarated part.

My name is Oak. People affectionately refer to me as the Pokémon Professor.
This world is inhabited far and wide by creatures called Pokémon, such as this Nidoran♀.
For some people, Pokémon are pets. Others use them for battling.
As for myself, I study Pokémon as a profession.
Oh, that's right. I told you to come here for a reason! It's more like a request.
On the desk there is my invention, the Pokédex!
It automatically records data on Pokémon you've seen or caught.
It's a high-tech encyclopedia!
To make a complete guide of all the Pokémon in the world, that was my dream!
But I'm too old. I can't get the job done.
So I want you to fulfill my dream for me.
Take it with you!
Oh, wait. I forgot the most important thing. You need a Starter Pokémon!

There are three Pokémon here. I give these out to all beginning trainers who are starting their journey.
This is Bulbasaur, the Seed Pokémon. It is a Grass/Poison type. It stores energy in the bulb on it's back.
This is Charmander, the Lizard Pokémon. It is a Fire type. The flame on it's tail makes sounds as it burns.
This is Squirtle, the Tiny Turtle Pokemon. It is a Water Pokémon. It withdraws into it's shell when in danger.
You can have one.
