Close Win Battles?

Have you ever vsed someone and almost won but then lost?

I was playing pokemon Pearl vsing my friend i named him Hans i was one move away from beating him but when he used tackle on me it was a critical hit and i lost.

Yes I have actually, can this be in any game? Like PBR for instance if so great!
Well I was competing in the Set 4 Masters battles in stargazer colloseum.
I was finally up to Mysterial the final trainer for that set.
Well, I only had me empoleon and I knocked out his Palkia and Garchomp all in one hit but empoleon was servely hurt. He sent out Uxie I used Ice Beam it used thunderbolt and empoleon was defeated. I was shattered. It was so frustrating!
