    I looked at his base stats and his defense is over the roof. I don't even know WHERE to start with him spet

    But did you look at his HP? It's poo. The fact that he has a weakness to Stealth rock makes it worse :/

    This is true...i forgot ice was weak to rock, thats kind of an abnormal weakness but not in terms of stealth rock...

    Either way i'm interested in building one anyway to see how he performs.

    - Explosion / Surf / Waterfall / HP Electric
     
    clyoster can work in UU, not good w/ em so i can't help u there...srry...

    I like the moveset just those EV's for the Sdef. are terrible, his Sdef is lower then his hp. So no way. But i dont like 252/252 EV's becuz they suck and leave no variety.

    With everyone's suggestions i was thinking along the lines of-

    252 HP, 152 Def, 100 Attack

    And have him as a Rapid Spinner/Exploder...whadya think of that with Impish Nature?
     
    just be careful with toxic spikes, they can trigger your opponent's pokemon's guts abillity.... if you want to stick to damage, spikes works nice and they are a bit on the safer side.

    See that's why you have them. So you can try to survive a Sp.Atk and then explode, if you feel the timing's right.
    It's like why people max out Blissey's defense. (of course Cloyster doesn't have all that HP as a luctury.)

    Your EV set does work too, but if your going to use it, you get an extra 4 EV's xD. I think you meant 252 Hp/156 Def/100 Atk.

    You can alter the EV's for a careful nature too. Your EV set does work but Lumine's is also a very good one.

    yea... last thing you need is to face a pissed off Heracross... I witnessed my buddy's team completely fall apart because of a Guts-out Close Combatting Heracross

    personally... overall.. I'm more of a SR fan, I use it exclusively to ruin focus sashes, takes the least amount of time to set up (1 turn is ALL you need for its effectiveness), and it guarantees damage.
