My windows media player ver. 11 is playing all my anime in black and white. I might need a different codec. Any suggestions?

    YES!!

Google this - Combined Community Codec Pack, first link should take you to a reddish website, from there download the pack, comes with everything to watch anime and view subs (If it contains them though)

    BEST CODEC EVER.

I dl it and the videos are still in black and white. Maybe its the settings on my media player. anybody know how to change the video settings on Windows meda player 11?

I dont know about windows media player 11 but in 10 you go View > Enhancements > Video settings, and make them all be in the center, or equal 1

    VLC Media Player

I generally use it for all videos because it generally runs them perfectly. But if you're fine with WMP you may want to find another suggestion.

What files are you using? (What's the anime, file type, etc?) GSpot https://www.headbands.com/gspot/ will be able to tell you specifically what codec you need. And as Josh suggests, VLC is a good option as a player.

Less "OMG I AGREE VLC PWNZ0RZ", please - it's not necessary, nor is it relevant to the thread, and I'm counting it as spam.
