Hey... o.o So, since I don't get much feedback by posting the artwork I use for my game in its respective thread, I figured I would take a more categorized approach, and only post artwork here to be rated. Mkay? Great.

Gym Leader: Terra
Notes: Out of all of these, she's the most original. Her base was taken from the HGSS female rocket grunt. After mass editing, and a custom arm(the one with the hand behind the butt) this is what I got. To clarify, the lighter splotches of brown on her pants is part of a flowered design. I'm considering dropping it though for regular blue jeans.

Gym Leader: Serafino

Notes: I know they're more of recolors and edits rather than original sprites... but they'll get better hopefully. Remember constructive criticism always helps.

Notes: Which version? V.1 matches the trainer sprite more, but V.2 seems like it may be the future.

Elite Four: Bridgette
Notes: I worked hard on her face, trying to remove the apparent similarity between her and her base, Karen.

Gym Leader: Ren
Notes: This one has taken the longest to do. (aside from the ones that aren't finished) Her base vs sprite I started from was Bertha, so I think I've done pretty well.

Thanks peeps. I would of said something earlier, but I didn't have anything new to go with the post, anywho... I was working around with West and got this. This version looks a lot more unique compared to the original, but also more mature. (I think)

I agree with a post I saw above about your overworld character looking like a female. All in all, your spriteworks seem to be very great and a sign of improvement is showing from basic editing to massive manipulation. Keep up the good work!

Thanks! Yea, I kinda see what you both mean. Either way the OW sheet and trainer sprite are gonna get updated to match the newer vs sprite. (eventually). Plus, I need to add a bag to him. o.o;

These are great! I like both versions of your male hero's VS sprite - the first one looks very 'action-y' whereas the second, as you said, is more mature, and I would also say... serene? I don't know how I'm gonna say this, but he seems more like he would be a responsible trainer, if you can see what I mean...?

Also, on his trainer sprite, the extended arm's outline is very white - I don't know, but I think it would look a little better with a bit of an outline, maybe in a very pale grey, just to make it clear. :/ maybe?

Apart from that, your work is very good, and I'd love to see your future works. ~♪

Out of all your sprites, the Hero's are the ones that stand out the most to be. Their concepts are great. The only thing that strikes my eyes, though, it tat it doesn't look like there is any shading on the male hero's torso. I really do look forward to seeing more of your sprites. You have potential with trainers. Keep up the good work.
