Colds/Flus

In your opinion, what's the worst part of a cold/flu? (Headache, throwing up, sore throat etc.)

For me, the worst part has to be the sore throat. It's always one of the worst feelings, and you can't touch it, or really do anything to make it feel better. Stomach flu really isn't that bad for me, because I have such a strong stomach. I can pretty much always hold it in... and I never really seem to get headaches to begin with.

I agree; I think the sore throat is the worst part. I had a quite severe cold/mild flu (like 102 degree fever) in early February, and my throat felt so bad that every time I tried to swallow it felt like sandpaper. Vomiting comes in second; headaches are horrible, but I get them frequently: Advil. :D

I had the worst flu ever in my life and the flu I had was I kept on coughing and coughing non-stop and I couldn't barely take a breath like I was dieing or I had a disease when I was small,But It was gone forever and I was Glad that was gone :).

Ever had a migraine? My god.. they're the worst. The light in your eye, followed by a headache then throwing up. That's what I get now and again so horrible :c

I'd have to say fever/chills and throwing up. Fever and chills are annoying as anything because you need a blanket then throw it off, need one, then you don't and then you get that cold sweaty feeling :X

I'm finally getting over the flu right now, and I've had pretty much everything in this thread except vomiting (plus I have plugged ears, so I'm nearly half deaf). I think the worst two things that came with this flu was my plugged/runny nose, and a sore throat that I still have, which makes me not want to drink anything because of the pain from swallowing, even when I'm thirsty.

Headache, Sore Throat, Vomiting and Stomachache. When I got sick, everything hurts! (except for the sneezing and the coughing)

Fortunate enough never to have had proper flu, but have suffered numerous colds throughout the years, and the worst part is easily the combination of blocked nose and clogged up sinuses. Sore throats and coughing I can normally deal with by medication, but sinuses are often a trickier business, and even reliable medication can often just not work when it comes down to it.
