Since I have a gallery for my tags and such, I figured I'd make one for my photographs. The black and white photos were taken for my Photography class. They were taken with a Pentax K1000 with B&W film. Developed and printed by yours truly. Enjoy.

    Black and White

    Photogram, assignment #1

    Kingdom Hearts action figure.

    Point of View, assignment #2

Assignment was to take 24 exposures of one object in different points of view. No exposure could have the same angle.

    Light and Shadow, assignment #3

Assignment was to capture natural light and shadows. Absolutely no artificial light.

    Scanned Negatives

From Light and Shadow, my teacher wouldn't let me crop negatives under the enlarger so my only choice was to scan the negative in.

    Colored Photos

    Painting With Light, assignment #4

Assignment was to be in a completely or nearly dark room and "paint" the exposure with light on a digital point and shoot camera. Set the camera to Night setting and moved the camera while exposing to get desired effect.

I probably should've focused on driving.

Any and all comments would be appreciated!

I'm glad you like them but these are the only prints I have so far. I'll update this when more photos are printed.

These are really cool. <3 My favourite would have to be... either the 1st one or the 4th one. I like the perspective n' all.

Standard question - what camera do you use/how many MP does it have? :B

The black and white ones, as I posted, are taken with a Pentax K1000. ♥ film cameras! The digital ones are taken with my family's Pentax Optio Z10. 8 MP.

I have the Sora figure. :3 That picture is amazing. How did you get it to look like that?

All of the photos of the small stuffed animal are simply brilliant. I adore the sfirst one. I think the window makes the shadows on the stuffed animal stand out so much more, and it gives the photo a sort of eerie mood. The tree in the background is also a very nice touch. I think that all of the pictures have a lonely and empty feel to them, as does the photo of the houses.

The color ones are very interesting. Especially the bottom-most one.

We basically took a sheet of 5x7 light sensitive printing paper and we laid out objects on top of the paper in an interesting way, and then exposed the paper to light for a certain amount of time. The unexposed part of the paper remains white while the exposed part turns black when developed.

    O:

    That's just... wow.

    So cool.

Now I am expecting to see more from you soon. :3

No more photograms. That was the first assignment, just an introduction to the enlarger (the tool we make prints with). We make prints the same way. We put our developed negatives into a negative holder which inverts the negative so the colors are correct. Then we fit the negative onto a 5x7 frame, make a test strip to determine the amount of time necessary to expose the paper, then we make our print. It's very fun, especially when you're in the darkroom with a bunch of other teenagers making inappropriate jokes.

Our next assignment coming up soon is portraits/people. (: I'm really excited for this one - 2 rolls of film!

    xD; Inappropriate jokes.

I'm really excited to see what sort of things you do with the portirats, angle-wise and such.

I already have one portrait in mind but I'm not sure if my teacher will let me do it or not. I mean, I have 2 rolls of film to work with, why not experiment? He likes me a lot anyways so I shouldn't expect there to be a problem with it. I might ask him if I could start early on the project so I can put some of them in my portfolio. I'm already ahead in the class, why not be a total jerk about it? :D

Oh ho! So what is this idea of yours?

    And haha, that's not being a jerk! It's just... excelling. xD;

True, true. And I like surprises.

And even if you told me, I would still be astounded with the photographs actual awesomeness when I saw it. :D
