    Pokémon games, most notably in the last few generation, tend to have a centralised theme. This ties together the storyline and links to the main legendary Pokémon of that particular location and game. The lore of that particular region is incredibly important - we're choosing the very foundation of The Connexus region's history, lore and legends!

    So, what ideas do you have! This time around you need to submit a Theme and the legendary Pokémon (single or plural) that relate to it. You should also elaborate and explain your reasoning! Include as much detail as you'd like!

    On Wednesday 2nd March, all the nominations will be put in a poll to be voted on. Have fun and feel free to contact us if you have any questions!​

    I think, considering the very nature of the Connexus region, that a theme of creation is a good one. By creation I don't mean the godly kind, I'm referring to the more human kinds of creation - artistry and science/invention. This theme resonates a lot with Connexus, a region that is being built from the ground up by a community of creative spirits, thanks to human technology. Considering that theme I think a pair of Meloetta and Genesect is in order.

    Edit: As well as fitting the "creation" theme the two have an interesting synergy of art vs science with Meloetta being both weak to and strong against Genesect depending on its forme.

    I like GP's idea of a modern region with technology and culture focused mascots, but at the same time I want to include a deep history in the region. Sorta like an old ruin or castle in the mountains away from the bustle of the city, with a legendary to match this undercurrent of ancient lore. So, I'd also like to propose Zekrom/Reshiram/Kyurem on top of GP's Meloetta and Genesect idea. Thus we have a modern and ancient theme for the region.
