Since when did mods suddenly become more intelligent than a board's users? Some of the users (and some of the staff...) seem to think that the forum's staff are godly, or otherwise somehow greater than the users. They have authority, that does not mean that the staff has any better judgement. You could take a 6 year old random and mod him, that does not make him smart. Someone is smart because they are smart, not because their name is a different color. Both the staff and the no-authority users would be better off realizing this.
Also I suggest everyone read Arcanine's post in my "Stupidity in Modding" topic. It is quite good for a laugh. Besides the other obvious hilarity in his post, I like how he assumes that banning means something to me. As he said, I've already been banned once. If I am banned in the future, I can easily get on proxies and come back. It makes no difference to me, it's not like I'm someone who whores post count.
EDIT: I'd like to address this quote...

This is exactly the kind of attitude I am talking about. If a police officer shoots someone, they better have a **** good reason for it. Obviously a thread on the internet is a lot different, but it is the same principle at base. Normally when admins abuse power, people on that particular board get pissed off at the admins and will either leave or demand the abuse stop and be reversed. What is present now is just ignorance, and makes this place look like ****ing Serebii. An admin's actions are final and are to be justified by nobody.
