6th Gen Connect to the original games!

I'm going to say this probably WON'T happen. For a large variety of reasons.

POkémon have been migrated, and such.

All RS games are no doubt empty at this current point in time, and people aren't going to play thorugh R/S to migrate Pokemon onto it's remakes, when they could just play the remakes. :/
 
On paper it's a cool idea, but there's not much need for it. Sure, we'd all love that sense of nostalgia playing with some old Pokemon that you trained back when you were a kid, but I'm not sure it's worth developing a way to connect with the old games. If people really wanted to experience that, they could do it, the process would just be complicated.
