Lol ho man...I remember when I use to draw DBZ...back in 2001. Wasn't too bad at it, it could've been alot worse...
I feel like trying to draw Pokemon characters now.... though even if I did, I'd have no way to scan them... ><;

Same here...but now this is off topic so like yeah...the only thing i can suggest for you May, is to try and get the proportions better, that was my first lesson in my art class XD, well kinda which is the proportions of the body and face, oh and shading is a key to excellent drawing, i know this because i got a C-B in Art, even if it was short course. because i never did the coursework XD...

Well thanks for the nice posts! I'll try to get proportions better, but I'm not that advanced yet, we don't learn human proportions in art yet, so I tried to learn it on my own ^^

Proportions are very hard to learn. I started out just like you :) The main thing to watch out for are the body proportions and head proportions. The secret (Not so much of a secret...) is to use reference when you start out, and compare. Making progress is very easy, and you can sometimes view your own progress in just a week XD

It's good. But like mistywishmaker Said, work a little on the Proportions, The heads are little to large, and the bods are too small, remember: Everything can be made out of by shapes.

But yeah, it's Very cute. <3

YAY! I love Contestshipping <3 You shouldn't be so hard on yourself, your art is adorable <3 The first two close up sketchings of May and Drew are great! And the second one with all the little Pokemon is great too! You just need to continue practice drawing, I'm sure you'll get better over time ^____^ Btw, I like how you do the hair, I'm always bad at it =x The way you draw their hair is so smooth :3

those are pretty good actually ;) When you do your drawings, always draw them on blank clean paper, if they turn out well, then its easy to scan them, and colour.

Wow, those are like really awsome comments! That kinda stuff is perfect, C+C, just what I asked for. I'll keep working on proportions, and keep practicing drawing too, but uh Willuknight, I'm not really good at coloring anime characters, but it's a nice thought ^^;
