    As of the March 2nd 203rd issue of GameInformer magazine, it was declared that Pokémon HG/SS are set to be released on March 12 9 , NOT March 14! If anyone has anymore information to add to this, please do so.

    Can you give me a link to this article, if possible?
     
    I don't think I have time, but I'll try to find a link. It does very obviously say: March 09 - Final Fantasy XIII (PS3, 360), Pizza Delivery Boy (Wii), Pokémon HeartGold, SoulSilver (DS).

    Just as proof of my seriousness. I'll look for a scan though.
     
    I've been looking around to see if the release date changed any and so far, all I've found is the March 14th date that was confirmed a while back.
     
    If that's true, that'd be great! My birthday's March 8th :D
     
    No one even has a cover of issue 203 scanned right now, much less their release calender. GameSpot still claims the release to be on March 14.

    And if you think I'm BS'ing about this, you don't need to blame me. Blame GameInformer for their inaccuracy if this is the case.
     
    Eh, March 12, March 14. Either way, the release date is still fairly close and I cannot wait until I get my Mareep. Lol
     
    Sardonix, I just rechecked it. It's even closer than the 12th. The release calender actually says March 9th. March 14th isn't even acknowledged on their calender.
     
    Just my luck seeing as my subscription ran out 2 months ago. T.T

    That'll teach me for trying to cut down my budget.
     
    Release dates are still the 14th on their website. Possibility they haven't changed it but I don't expect it to have changed.

    I just renewed mine, so I don't know if I got my issue before everyone else because the cashier handed it to me with my Edge Card renewal, and that everyone else is still waiting on theirs to come in the mail, or what.
     
    That's cool...but now I need to finish my payment to reserve it =p (I put $10 down, and I still have to pay $30+ to actually reserve it). I think that it's true, but I'll put another opinion as to why the date is pushed earlier: Maybe it's being released earlier so that it can get stocked into stores without the rush? I don't know for sure, but most of the Gamestops where I live are really small, and so many people want this game, so... =p

    They told me at GameStop to just put five down on it and I was guaranteed a copy, so I haven't put anymore money on it since. Lol
     
    Paid in full... I'm just awesome. I had $80 on my card at the time.
     
    I got $80 ready to buy SoulSilver and probably the strategy guide, so I'm more than ready to buy it. I may buy HeartGold, too. I'm good with having the $5 on it. Still got the receipt, too.

    Everywhere I've looked, they all have said March 14, so that's what I'm going buy. If it does get released March 9, cool, but I doubt they changed the date.
     
    Other than the thread shifting off-topic, no one has seem to provide any proof of the release date being moved a few days closer. Also, looking at the Official US Pokémon Site, the release of HeartGold and SoulSilver still remains to be on the 14th of this month. It could be a possibility that Game Informer has misprinted their information, but with less than two weeks remaining I doubt the release date of the US version of the remakes would be changed.

    If anyone can provide information that this change in date is actually correct then please feel free to PM either myself or bobandbill and we'll consider re-opening the thread for the discussion. Until then...
