3rd Gen cool EGG

Hey people, long time no see.

I was just wondering if anyone has ever hatched a shiny egg
...without a cheat device?

lately I've been breeding a lot.

and I was breeding my skarmory

the very first skarmory to hatch was a female

with green wings (emerald) and at first I thought that's just how they
were in emerald, then the 2nd one hatched also female but with red wings

then when I checked the summary , it's number and stuff were in gold.

and it hit me that, I'd just hatched a Shiny pokemon egg...
which is pretty cool but I got a crap nature so I'm not gonna raise it.

but yeah just wanted to share that I hatched a shiny egg.

has this happened to anyone else?

Wow, I have never heard about that happening. I am sure there is someone that has happened to but never to me. Thanks for sharing that bit of info with me.
