Coolest person that has travelled with ash?

Brock or Tracy:
Scyther, Marril, and Venonat are really useful. I wish we could have Tracy in the gang again

Brock's a comedian :)
 
May. She had a fun personality and some pretty good character development too.

Brock for sure. He is so awesome and he's funny as hell.

And I've noticed that every female that traveled with Ash had a deteriorating personality.

Misty - Tsundere (My favorite kind)
May - Yandere{Killer girl} (That's the impression I got from her at least)
Dawn - Lolita (Short Skirt says it all)
 
Misty, because she's the only female character in Pokemon that I've ever legitimately given a ---- about. And because I like to irritate the fanboys at serebii who close Misty topics five seconds after they're made. Not to mention she was probably the most well written character in the series.

Misty for the same reason lol.
 
Definitely Misty. She's probably the only one that had that unique little temper with her which made it so much more interesting than boring ol' May and Dawn.
 
Probably Misty because of her Politoed and Horsea. Tracey doesn't have enough Pokemon, Max is a supernerd who doesn't have any, Dawn never lets any of her Pokemon evolve, and I guess May's in second.
 
I have to give this to Misty honestly. She is just the perfect person to travel with Ash you know. She had that personality that countered his. Besides she was beast with Water Pokemon.
 
Brock all the way. He just so funny and had awersome pokemon. Just wish he would battle more or something I no he is a breeder but if he had a little more todo would be great :D either way brock if far by the best
 
It's between Brock and Misty. They're both awesome gym leaders.
Misty's attitude was awesome, as were her Pokemon, and Brock is just amazing for every reason under the sun. They didn't distract from the whole storyline of Pokemon (Ash's journey) with contests, they were just awesome characters.
The whole point of Pokemon is to follow Ash's journey, but with the introduction of May and Dawn came their journeys to become great Coordinators, too, and it changed the whole storyline, y'know?
Brock and Misty never really did that, but they were still central characters, which makes them the coolest, IMHO. =3

I really like Brock. He's funny, sometimes on purpose sometimes not, but he's also really serious a lot of the time and (during the Indigo League at least) seemed to know more than Misty and Ash when it came to Pokemon. I always liked that he knew what he was talking about.

Misty was awesome too, she had a cool personality for a female character, but I still gotta go with Brock. : )
