Corruption (A Bleach RP)

Well, I've had quite a bit of time on my hands lately. Okay, a lot, and I decided to devise this RP on the anime Bleach. You don't need to know anything about the show, besides what I give in the "Bleach for Dummies" section of my post, so enjoy! ^^

Bleach for Dummies
In this section, I will explain to you the world of Bleach, and give you terms that could be quite useful.

What is Bleach?
Bleach is the story of a young boy, named Ichigo, who ever since he could remember, could see spirits.One day, he is attacked, and saved by a Death God, who almost fails. In this time of desperation, she gives Ichigo what remained of her power, so Ichigo could fight the Hollows in her place. The actual story will be unrelated to this RP though.

Important Terms (May Update Later)

Soul Society- Basically "heaven," this is where all souls are sent after death, after a being called a death god sends them there. The Soul Society is also the main quarters of the Death Gods.

Death God- a spiritual being from Soul Society whose job is to perform Konsoh on wholes, and cleanse hollows of their sins. Soul Reapers, like hollows and wholes, cannot be seen, touched or heard by the living world. They are usually dressed in grey kimonos.

Soul Slayer- Sword wielded by Death Gods. Used to perform Konsoh and fight Hollows. Once it's owner discovers the name of his/her Slayer, he/she is able to change it's form to match the strength of their spirit power, just by calling their name. When in a faux body, Death Gods lose their Soul Slayer until reverted back to Spirit form.

Plus- good soul.

Hollow ? a soul that wasn?t permitted into Soul Society and whose sins must be cleansed by a Death God before they can return there. Hollows feed on pluses to ease their pain ? first they feed on family, then randomly. A whole eaten by a hollow ceases to exist. A hollow is not only recognizable for its monstrous form, but also by the large hole where their Chain of Fate used to connect. Also, it's face is always covered by a large white mask.

Konsoh ? the ritual of sending a whole to Soul Society. Typically done by butting the end of a Soul Slayer hilt onto the forehead of a soul. When the whole travels to Soul Society, it typically takes the form of a black swallowtail butterfly.

Chain of Fate ? a chain connecting a soul to its body. When the chain is severed, the soul wanders the world in need of Konsoh to go to Soul Society.

Mod Soul ? a manufactured soul created in Project Spearhead. Their purpose was to inhabit corpses and fight hollows. When the project was canceled, all mod souls were destroyed. Though some exist still... somewhere.

Soul Candy- A special candy that, once eaten, ejects your spirit out of your body, and a soul from within the candy takes over your body. Great for Death Gods stuck in Faux bodies who need to get to a Hollow, fast.

Faux Body- A fake body that is assigned to a Death God under certain conditions, such as being drained of power, or breaking a Death God rule, ect, and in this, they are forced to live alongside humans, and with most of their power drained.


The RP
The Plot
Now, with the basics placed down, I think I should explain the plot of this RP, XD

Over 100 years ago, the Death Gods sealed away a spiritual power in the bottom of Mount Fuji. Why was this power locked away? It was able to control Hollows through a human host, corrupting the human, the longer it is inside, until it too becomes a Hollow, and the spirit power seeks a new host. Though somehow, someway, this power was released once again, the Soul Society unaware...

One week later, the Soul Society had been recieving reports of Hollow sightings about 50% more frequently, but to them, the reason was unknown. 20 attacks in the city area, and still rising, and you were one of the 20 attacked...

At some point during that week, you had a run-in with a Hollow, but since you could not see, or hear it, since you didn't possess any spiritual power, you almost died. When it looked as you were finished, the unknown attacker suddenly disappeared, as it was destroyed by something else unseen to the human eye...

At the end of that week's time, you begin seeing strange things. Well, spirits, to be precise, but what exactly is going on? This was just a taste of the Spirit power within that you had yet to unlock, the Hollow attack only released the lock on it. You decide to keep the attack, and the power to yourself for now. The only problem is, you have no idea about anything that's currently going on, so if you're discovered, what will you choose? The side of Light, and fight against the Hollows, or fight alongside the darkness, and destroy all who stand in your way?

Here are a few basic rules if you wish to participate in this RP:
1) If you do not RP up to my expectations, I WILL remove you.
2) No powerplaying.
3) Get along with the other members of the RP.
4) There is a 4-sentence per post minimum in this RP. It shouldn't be a problem for those of you who have no problem thinking things up.

[Anacortes]

The plot is kinda confusing..but I'm joining. It's fun!^^

Name: Josephine
Age: 13
Gender: Female
Spiritual Power: Lower accuracy of enemies
Appearance: Josephine has hazel eyes, and matching blonde hair, just right for her eye color. She is usually seen wearing a blue dress with small flowers at the edges, and a green coat on top. Her skin is white, but easily tanned. She tries her hardest to keep her skin the way it is. Her shoes are green sandals, and blue headband.
Personality: She seems cheerful and nice around people her own age, but when she is around adults, especially her parents, she tends to be alone, muttering to herself most of the time. She is not at all deterimined to get her homework done, but would rather take seriously of a dream that could never come true.
Character History: Many things have happened to Josephine in these years. Things that seemed like miracles but faded away the next instant. Her parents are brutal to her, once almost breaking her arm. Although she is used to it now, she is still waiting for a time to seek revenge. She no longer believes in any powers she is being told she has, since too many of these things come and go, and she'd feel worse each time.
RP Sample: Josephine slowly walked out of her house, and dared not look back. when she heard no footsteps following her, she ran. Running as far as she could, she realized everyone was looking at her. Before her parents woke up the next day or even right now, she had to get away. She ran for her friend's house, where nobody was home, and her mother was right behind. Where shall I go? she thought desperatly.

I guess I need to elaborate on what I mean by Spiritual Power.
By Spiritual Power, I meant like say the ability to use spiritual energy to make a barrier, or to channel Spiritual energy into a weapon, making it stronger, stuff like that. Anything that could physically damage a Hollow somehow.

The plot looks a little confusing, I know, but it should be easier once we get started OO;;

spiritual power: she can create black flames that can burn like normal fire or be as freezing as ice, she can trap things with this power (is that a bad power?)
Apearance: she has deep scarlet eyes, and dark purple hair her hair is down to her ankles and kept into two ponytails tied with black lace, she wears a black bggy t shirt with a cresent moon symbol on the front, she wears slightly baggy jeans, sneakers, a black carrier bag, and black fingerless gloves, her skin is very pale
personality: optional
character history: she was abandoned at a temple and was raised by the preistesses so she is very spiritual
Rp example: Paige stared at her old home with little emotion. Her hair was flowing in the wind almost as if it were trying to go back to the home it knew so well. Paige on the other hand never wanted to go back they were not family that is a word Paige thought to herself nothing more.... She made a graceful exit from the temple never to return.....

Edit: You have to be a teen who was attacked by a Hollow, and only has a enough spiritual power to see spitits right now Paige ><

Spiritual Power:
To channel her spiritual power into a barrier/shield, which slightly damages the hollows who touch it. (Or do right now we can only see spirts? o.o)

Appearance:
Long, straight navy blue hair, with occiasional white streaks in her hair. (Usually braded into three braids with a silver ribbon) Rather short and petite for her age. She has dark, almost black brownish eyes. She dresses in the typical Japanese sailor school uniform. (see Kagome's uniform from InuYasha's but instead of green and red, replace the green part with blue)

Personality:
Often seems younger than her actual age. Is optimistic and outgoing, though she's really insecure and often sticks to someone who's like nice to her. Is often lost in fantasy, confusing it with reality.

Character History:
Of Japanese nationality who studied abroard in the US for the past 5 years, so she could speak English fluently. Her parents are divorced, she lives with her mom. Really just a typical life.

Can speak English and Japanese fluently? >.>;

RP Sample:
Yukimi watched the swirling leaves dance around in the chilly fall weather. They reminded her vaugely of her life's recent events, moving from one place to another...

"Oh well, at least it's better than moving to a new country!" she said cheerfully aloud, trying to make herself feel better about the situation.

But no matter how hard she tried, she could press down the feelings about her parent's recent divorce, she loved her dad, she really did. But... what caused her mother's love for her dad to stop?

A tear dropped down.

Name: Robert Price
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Spiritual Power: He can channel his inner strength into a weapon, causing it to change slightly, and become damaging to the ethreal.
Appearance: Robert is tall, standing at 6'3'', with dark brown hair, cut short, and hazel eyes that seem to array more emotions then his nearly tonedead voice. He wears typical T-shirts and jeans, under a large, black leather greatcoat, with many knives concealed under it.
Personality: (Optional)
Character History: Having been misunderstood all of his life, Robert has become a bit.. strange, mentally. He took to his own easily, finding ways of making more than enough cash on to live happily, though he's seemingly unemployed, living out away from any relatives.

RP Sample: I awoke one morning in my mountain, resting upon my hoard, this morning seemed much like any other at that point. I chose a new form for today, a magnificent pewter scaled dragon, and began checking my spells that gave me news of anyone coming near my mountain... But they were gone, dissapeared without a trace! "Theives!!" I thought instantly, and shot towards the main exit at an amazing speed for a creature so large. I zommed out of the main gate, ready to incinerate the burglars and the mage they brought to remove my spells, only to find a sight which made me stop dead in my tracks. I looked around, only to find the mountain range I lorded over was gone! All around me there was desert, but my mountain was right here, just the same. It was as though someone uprooted it from my mountain range, and placed it here in this desert! "How remarkable..." I remarked, stunned by this turn of events.

Age: Looks 14
Gender: Male
Spiritual Power: For plot reasons, David is a Death God, who is already on the borderline of being placed in a faux body for having fun. In his Death God form, he posses his Soul Slayer, who's name he has yet to unlock.

Appearance: 5'11" w/ blue eyes and medium red hair. He wears clothing almost exactly like those of that in this picture, same colour, in his Death God form: https://mangascansbr.dojobr.net/imagens/Bleach_capa01_grande.jpg

Personality: Already on thin ice with Soul Society for it, David is a happy-go-lucky kid who loves to have a great time, though he does take his job extremely seriously besides that.

Character History: Is known by the other Death Gods for taking extreme punishment for his actions; showing human emotion isn't allowed for a Death God. His latest punishment was going without food or water for a week.

OOC: Okay, I guess we can start now. If you get completely lost, and need assistance, PM me about it rather then posting it here. We start right after you guys start seeing spirits, as well as Hollows, unaware of your powers yet.

IC: "What is with all of the Hollow attacks lately?" I asked myself from atop a large building in the center of the city, my Soul Slayer placed tightly on my back. "That was the fourth one today."

I turned my head to the left as I felt a spirit power appear. "Another Hollow?" I muttered as I leapt to the next building, then to the next, following this pattern to the Hollow, who I found attacking a kid, who seemed to be able to see it. Well, I really had nothing to lose.

I jumped from atop the building, landing in between the kid and the Hollow. "Hey kid, you can see me, can't you?" I asked.

Name: Sakura Mikage
Age: 13
Gender: Female

Spiritual Power: Her bracelet transforms into two fairies, one with rabbit ears and tail, while the other has cat features. [It sort of works like Orihime's 6 Flowers of the Hibiscus Shield only she has two fairies instead of six and she doesn't quite need magic phrases~ X3] The first fairy acts as the offensive one, being the one used for attacking, the other for defensive purposes?being a barrier. It takes a lot out of her by using merely one, though.

Appearance: Sleek brown hair cascades down to Sakura's chin with short ribbons adorning her hair. She has pastel emerald green eyes, with flecks of silver, which always gleam, whether in sunshine or moonlight. She has an athletic frame, but often seem fragile to one's eyes. Her frequent attire consists of an orange loose shirt underneath a black long-sleeved one and green cargo shorts that reaches her knees. Other than that, her outfits are usually loose, boy-like, and comfortable kind of clothes. A dangling bracelet also hangs in her right wrist; it was given to her by her decease mother.

Personality: Carefree, ecstatic, and a tomboy; Sakura acts no way near feminine with her fondness for anything athletic and boyish and her rather uncivilized actions. She is almost always bouncy and optimistic and finds it awfully hard to be serious. Her extreme stubbornness and undying determination can also be a handful.

Character History: Sakura lives with her elder sister and brother, both who acts as her parents. Her mother died from illness when she was two years old, and her father?suffering from depression?is currently hospitalized, with an extremely critical condition. Although, she somehow manages to remain enthusiastic and bouncy all the time, despite every incident that happened to her.

Other: Sakura is quite talented in Martial Arts.

RP Sample: "I'm not finished yet~!" Sakura exclaimed energetically, carefully lifting herself from the ground.

Her opponent, meanwhile, could only stare at her, thinking that she really needed to learn the words 'I give up'. She was badly beaten already; her right eye was bruised and she could barley keep it open, the rest of her body had scratches and bruises, and her breath was uneven. It was amazing that she could still firmly stand up.
"We can stop, you know."

Her opponent's voice rang in her head and pondered a while before grinning. "I told you before, I'm not finished yet!"

Within moments, she hastily dashed to her opponent and kicked him in is shin. She grinned once more and plopped on the ground, her eyes slowly closing. "Now I'm finished." She whispered lightheartedly before immediately falling asleep.

Paige stared at the person "um... yes?" She was on her knees staring at the strange person and the other being. "What is that?" Paige demanded pointing at the hollow. She seemed to suddenly forget her fears about the strange thing.

OOC: Of course you can join Mari! ^^ And uh... Paige, I think I'm going to have to kick you from the RP. I can tell already that your posts arent going to be up to par. Sorry ^^;

 

[Mari]

With teeth gritted at the ghastly spirit in front of her, Sakura could only watch as it readied itself to strike her. She shut her eyes, expecting to feel something painful, when she heard a voice call her.

"Hey kid, you can see me, can't you?"

Her eyes hesitantly opened and she briefly averted her gaze at the eerie spirit in front of her, switching it to the newcomer. "Yes," She answered, perplexity implied in her tone. "Why do you ask?" She inquired curiously, paying no heed to the monster for now.

 

[Kurosaki]

"You aren't supposed to, thats why." I said as I turned to face the Hollow. It reminded me of a giant centepede, based on its length, the amount of legs, and the texture of its skin. It was at least 13' long, and had more little purple legs then I could count. I took note of the hard white mask coating it's face. That was where I had to strike.

"Let's do this." I said to myself as I took hold of my Soul Slayer, and removed it from my back, and leapt at the Hollow. I thought I had it, when it's tail end approached me from the side, crushing me against the wall. After a few moments, it loosened it's grip, and I fell to the ground. I was careless, but it wouldn't get me like that again!

 

[Mari]

"I'm not supposed to?" Sakura repeated wonderingly to herself.

Being too confused of everything that was occurring, she was uncertain of what to do and merely kept her eyes at the two dueling beings. She wanted to help but had no idea how to, she had assumed that martial arts wouldn't work on it.

"Umm," She called to the puzzling boy, eyes steadied at the centipede-like creature, "is there anything I can do to help?" Okay, that possibility was less than one percent, but she didn't care right now. She just wanted to help.

 

[Kurosaki]

"Not... exactly!" I cried as I leapt for the Hollow, which tried the same move again. This time, I was prepared, and landed on it's tail, then leaping off of that as well, heading straight for the mask. It only took one slash there to defeat the Hollow, which disappeared soon after.

"Heh... Sorry i took so long." I said to the girl as I walked up to her, my soul slayer resting on my shoulder.

 

[Mari]

Hearing the boy's answer, Sakura pouted slightly, denying the fact that what he said was true. "But I-" Sakura protested, still stubbornly denying that what he said was the truth. She had quickly forgotten all her complaints moments ago, though, as soon as she caught sight of the boy while attacking the monster and defeating it after one mere hit.

"Cool~!" She exclaimed enthusiastically, as she grinned broadly at him. "How did you do that?"

 

[Kurosaki]

"I can't tell you anything, I'm sorry." I said as I looked her over. She was quite attractive, that was for sure, and she made me feel warm inside. "Err... I better go. Just dont tell anyone what you saw." I said, turning my back to walk away.

 

[Mari]

"Eh~?" Sakura cried hysterically. "Why not? I won't tell anyone!

She watched as he turned his back at her, and a pout immediately formed no her lips. Presuming that he wouldn't tell, no matter how much she begged, she breathed out a sigh of defeat. "Before you go, could you at least tell me your name?" She inquired, a cheery grin replacing the childish pout on her face. "Pretty please~?"
