"I'm David." I said before jumping on top of the nearest building, and opening the gate to Soul Society with my Slayer, and entered.

"You have been found guilty, once again, for involving human emotion with your responsibilities. Your punishment is 3 weeks in a faux body, that we will decide upon." The judge ordered before I was dismissed.

The next morning, at school...
"Today there will be a new student joining us. Say hello to David Miyamoto." The teacher announced as I walked in, dressed in the grey uniform, though my physical features hadnt changed, so that girl would know me if she saw me.

((OOC: I assume we're in the same class? xD))

Yukimi looked up, A new student? she thought eagerly. "...say hi to David Miyamoto."

"Oooh, he sounds foreign." she said critically to herself, observing the new student, he seemed strange somehow...

"Hello Miyamoto-san." she said polietly to the new student, twirling one of her braids.

Sakura's grin widened as she heard him say his name. "Okay, then. See you again, soon~!" She exclaimed ecstatically, waving goodbye.

She watched as he leaped on a building's rooftop before heading back to her house.
-~-
The next day, Sakura woke up late, as usual. She had just reached the school and was in front of her classroom, slowly opening the door. She just knew that her name would be yelled.

"Sakura!"

Her face fell. Right after welcoming the new student, the teacher started lecturing her about promptness?again. Sakura listened to him uninterestedly, and kept her eye at the new student. She studied him for a while before gasping.

"You!" She exclaimed loudly and ecstatically, pointing at David. She had already forgotten about the lecture that was given to her, and the fact that her teacher was talking to her, and had hastily made her way towards him.

"Nee, nee, you're that David I saw yesterday, right~?" Sakura inquired excitedly, making sure that he was the David she met rather than someone who simply looks a LOT like him.

"Uh... hi. What's your name?" I replied to the girl politely, stunned. I never in my wildest dreams had thought I'd end up going to a school like this. There was something similar between the two girls though... It HAD to be their Spirit Power!

"You will be taking a seat beside Sakura." The teacher told me as he pointed out my seat. So... Her name is Sakura?

"Yes..." I replied, blushing, before opening my book to the page the teacher instructed.

ooc: I'm way behind..

ic: A new student? This was going to be interesting! I had just come to this school a week ago, and now there's another one? I walked over to David and greeted him. "Hey there, welcome to our school. I'm kinda new too. It was nice to meet you." I pulled out my hand. " Shall we be friends...?"

I calmly watched as the other students happily greeted the new guy. Lemmings, they didn''t know what it was like to be on your death bed. They all thought I was some sort of goth freak. Bah, I had almost died once, and it had practically turned me into a different person emotionally. I said nothing, giving the kid a stare, but not moving towards him. I'd see how he reacted, and see if he was worthy of notice...

"Uh... sure?" I asked the girl as I placed my hand in hers, and gave the boy who had motioned closer a cold stare. Both had oddly high Spiritual energy compared to most humans, which worried me, since Hollows were attracted to strong energy. My Spiritual energy alone was enough to attract a Hollow...

I noticed the boy's cold stare, and nodded. He wasn't intimidated, he might actually have a spine... I'd actually introduce myself during lunch break. And not the way I usually did, I wouldn't even threaten him with one of my knives. Though that was partially because most schools were starting to crack down on the rules...

The lunch bell FINALLY rang, and I found myself searching for somewhere to eat. It wasn't exactly difficult though, as I had been alone my whole 'life.' I just basically found an unoccupied tree outside, and sat under it, chowing down on a 'burger' I think they called it.

"I'll talk to you later, David." I said and sat back down as the teacher spoke. I took out my homework, which I did not finish catching up yet. This assignment was due after two more days, and if I didn't hurry soon, I'd fail this term for science. I sighed, shoving books into my knapsack. David would have lots of trouble, doing the same thing. I guess I had to feel sorry for him..

"You're different from the rest of the kids here." I said, leaning aainst the tree, at an angle from the new kid, David, they said he was. It wasn't a question, but a statement. "It's rare to see someone ho isn't the typical goody-goody frail excuse for a person around here, pleased to meet you." I said, though I didn't move. "I'm Robert."

"Whatever." I said as I got up, and began to walk away, when I noticed the spirit of a deceased little girl by the school boundries, and pointed to it. "You can see her, can't you?" I asked, not even giving him a glance. If not, I'd be written off as a loonitic.

"So, you can see them too." I said, by way of an answer, moving up beside him. "If you can see them, could you tell me just what they are? My first thought was ghosts, but they don't seem to be doing much haunting." I said, gazing at the sight intently.

"What you see is a Spirit, or a Plus, to be exact." Ghosts? Ha, that was good! "I can't tell you anymore though." I replied as I began walking away. I swung around to see the spirit though, as I felt a strong, dark, spirit power approaching. Not a Hollow here!

A large, longe tongue appeared from behind the school boundries, and wrapped itself around the spirit, sucking it into its owners mouth. From behind the cement wall that was the school boundry, a large, hairy beast, with a huge mouth, covered by a large, ugly, white mask rose.

"This isn't good." I said as I started off in a run towards the Hollow. Death God or not, I couldn't abandon my duty.

"Hmph, you'll tell me more if you want my help with that, and believe me, you probably will." I said. Truthfully, it was the first time I had seen anything like that, but judging how no one else panicked, it was something else that only I, and thhis new guy could see. I pulled a knife from inside of my coat, a simple gang-brawl issue, but it was glowing with all the colors of an opal in sunlight.

What the hell... I thought to myself as I slowed down, feeling a jolt of spirit energy oozing from Robert. It wasn't the time to worry about that though, as I just barely leapt out of the way of the Hollow's tongue attack, landing saftly on the ground to the right. I finished off by shouting some trigger words, which shot a blast of Spirit Power at the Hollow, though the attack just bounced off. "How much of my power did they take away?" I asked myself before feeling the tongue wrap around my body like a constrictor, beginning to crush my body.

"See? I told you that you'd need my help." I said, and lunged forward with the knife, stabbing deep into the tongue, andthen pulling it out by cutting through the side. Needless to say, extremely painful. At least, if it followed the same rules as the living...

OOC: Hmm are there still vacencies? I would like to join ^^

Name: Nic
Age: 14
Gender: Male. Probably.

Spiritual Power: Accuracy- improving vision to target weak points. Hmm, would being able to locate acupoints with perfect accuracy be acceptable?

Appearance: Uhh appearance? Hmm, as probably mentioned before... the main feature is a pair of thick shiny squarish looking glasses. He doesn't exactly need them much- has a low degree, but wears them to hide his eyes. And... the glasses have a specific solution coated that somehow prevents visions of spirits. Has medium length black spiky hair combed into very nicely defined parts, parted on the left. For some strange reason, he keeps one long strand of hair uncut. Whitish looking skin, very neatly trimmed fingernails. Plain gray shirt, and long gray cargo pants. Pants appear to have too many pockets, but most of them don't function anyway. Only four of them are real pockets, two in the normal positions just under the belt line, and two on the lower leg. The others are perfectly flat- paper, etc. can be slotted into them, but nothing else. Wears thick black shoes without anything on them. Mostly dark grey socks. The shoes don't appear to be of any noticable brand, but have very good cushioning, and are very comfortable.

Personality: Very studious and unsociable person. Likes throwing random bits of stationary at people because he gets bored during class, since the teacher doesn't seem to be able to address his questions.

Character History: Has been seeing ghosts since he was young. Being nervous around them, he wears the glasses all the time after he discovered a chemical that could block out vision of ghosts. He has been wearing them for years, leaving them on a table next to his bed after he closes his eyes and tries to sleep. That way, he manages to pretend that the ghosts don't exist. He keeps himself busy all the time to try to ignore any possible sign that they exist. Basically, he just wants to be a normal, mundane person drifting through life without anyone else noticing him as far as possible.

Other: Extremely picky eater. Likes poking people with stationary in class. Oh, and throwing it at them when the teacher isn't looking.

Someone was calling behind him.
He really hated this new school. Before that, life had been so peaceful. But for some reason, his family decided to move to Japan.
Nic couldn't understand why everyone liked Japan so much.
But in any case, he mastered Japanese language and culture as far as possible before going to minimize the chance of conflict.
And now some idiot was trying to provoke him.
Ignoring the call, he continued walking away from the crowd to enjoy his lunch break in peace.
Some footsteps behind him.
Although he didn't look it, he was surprisingly atheletic. He could recognise that sound- the run of a bully chasing a potential target. Sprinting away, he wondered where he would go next. Somewhere where no one would see. Then he could use the cheap fountain pen he sharpened to an edge without attracting attention.
Before he could do so, the person had caught up with him. Apparently he had something against glasses- using insults with reference to them, and knocking them off.

Then, Nic saw it.

Behind the person, a large figure had come into view as his glasses came off.
He hadn't seen any spirits for many years. The feelings he had assiociated with them- disgust, irritation, and some fear- came back in that instant.
This one didn't really look like the spirits he was used to. Large and lumpy. Looked like someone was attacking it.

"I want your lunch money. Hand it over or you'll get hurt."

He stabbed the bully and scrambled for his glasses while the bully was still surprised that this kid would even dare to attack him.

I hope this is fine ^^

OOC: Okay Nic, go ahead. I can see that chemical becoming a part of the plot at some point if you allow it, XD

Thanks ^^

Hmm the chemical? I was thinking more of the glasses...
Losing glasses -> Deciding to stop ignoring the spirits and face them instead, possibly for a friend
Losing glasses -> Spirit thingy being the opposite- sharpened vision, instead of not seeing ghosts, sees into them...

Edit: Hmm I think I can get the chemical to come in somewhere... maybe at some point later after deciding to stop using the chemical, some bad guy decides to put it on lenses and glue them onto the eyes, such that the character cannot see the ghosts, although he wants to kill them now.
