Could someone check over my Swellow?

    Yes i know it is an awful pokemon. But there is a point to it!

    Swellow - Jolly@ Flame orb
    EV's 252 attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
    Moveset:
    Facade
    Protect
    Roost
    Aerial Ace

    Any thoughs?
     
    I wouldn't recommend Protect on it as its health will be drained away by the Orb. Steel Wing could be used instead to combat Rock Types.
     
    Are u kidding? swellow isn't bad... Flame orb with facade and guts is really good, somebody almost OHKOd my entire team once with that combo (except they had toxic).
     
    Well, the idea was to protect the first turn, get burnt, then his ability kicks in. Gets 50% more attack power, then facade, doubles the attack power, then you get the STAB power, thats like, 315 attack power...

    Doesn't the effect of Flame Orb kick in right away? Either way I advise you to use Steel Wing.
     
    Flame Orb is better, and I don't know how many times I have explained it, but I really can't be bothered to type it out again today.

    Swellow@Flame Orb
    Adamant
    Protect
    Facade
    Brave Bird
    U-Turn

    Then you don't need Steel Wing.

    lol no, Swellow won't last, its goal is to do as much damage as possible. And it won't do that with Flame Orb. Flame Orb fails on ANY physical sweeper. Toxic Orb is the way.
     
    A lot of people seem to think that Guts negates the Attack reduction from a burn. This in fact is not true, and you'll be losing more than you're gaining. Use Toxic Orb.

    Um, I just added quick attack because it is really helpful for a focus sash switch in. For example weavile.
