Could someone evolve my Kadabra?

    Hey,

    New to the forums, and I have a Kadabra that I wish to evolve into an Alakazam. So could someone trade, then trade back immediately :)

    You give him your pal pad number, register his and go to the basement of the pokemon center and connect to wi-fi in the middle counter.
     
    As Mason said. You don't need the gts, only the pokemon center.

    I'll be waiting for you in the WiFi room. =)
     
    I get error 86420, and experience tells me I can't trade with people who give me that error. You'll have to look for someone else, sorry. :(
     
    Ahhh ok, hmm. Well thanks for trying. SOunds like your router has a firewall on it which doesn't let certain things through, or you don't have the right ports opened.

    I have my router set up for a lot of different games, so, don't think it could be mine.
     
    That would be a firewall error. Try cutting off whatever firewall you are running Oro.
     
    Believe me, I've tried everything: turning off firewalls, port forwarding...

    I can't connect with about 50% of the people I've tried to trade with. It's a known Belgacom (my provider) problem, yet they refuse to do something about it.
     
    I have no firewall, like i said, I have my router set up for gaming/p2p, so no firewalls, Upnp on, all ports from 1-65535 open, so.

    Well thanks for trying anyway :) hopefully someone else will be able to connect.
     
    I'd do it, but I don't have my DS with me. Plus the college's Wi-Fi sucks, can never connect.
    You know theoretically this kind of thread is against the rules and these offers are truly from the kindness of our hearts.

    The whole point about Pokemon is that some that you can only get via trading, I thought a site about Pokemon would embrace people wanting to trade. I'll go and find another website, that's ok. Only wan tto trade a kadabra to get it to evolve, then trade it back lol....
     
    The rules state that you use the quicktrade thread for stuff like this. A full thread is for when you have multiple pok'es, so as to ensure continuity in the thread. No point in a thread that would last an hour at best.

    Naah, no need for that. You should have used the Quick Trade Thread, not make your own topic. However, trade > evolve > trade back isn't against the rules, no worries. =)
     
    Ahh ok, well I was going to also ask if someone had a newly caught Jigglypuff as well as the Kadabra thing, and a Vulpix, as you cant get the V in HG and I can't find Jiggly anywhere.
     
    You can find Jiggly in the Safari Zone if you change the areas :)
     
    Kobold Asylum and Trope, stop the minimodding and just report the thread please.
