This is the club for all you people who are country music fans to come to! So let the country begin! YAY!

Even if you don't like country music you can come here to relax, and get away from your stressful posting day. Just come in get a nice cool ginger ale and sit down and listen to people or joind descussions! This is more like the friendly hicks club! XD

    Would this club include Bluegrass?

YAY! I love bluegrass! *twiddles thumbs* So...What now?

The only major artist I really like is Ricky Skaggs. The rest I like are smaller bads who play out in my area through Swallow Hill. I can't remember their names for the life of me.

*grabs a ginger ale and sits down with RM and TAD*

Hey everyone! Bluegrass, eh? I enjoy it quite a bit, but don't know any groups or names. Banjos are really neat! I've fiddled around with one before...they are really hard to play!

I like banjos, sure, but I prefer a mandolin and fiddle. *Sips ginger ale and nods* They sound great together.

I know Ricky, and Allison. But that's it. I like Ricky, but I don't like Allison.

*sees Skye* *opens ginger ale can* *starts drinking* Banjos? I love them! I want one, as soon as I get the guitar down, I'm having trouble with chords. They're a pain in my butt.

I've never really liked to play string-ed insturments. As far as playing goes, I've done the drums and Alto sax. But the banjo would be interesting to diddle around on, I suppose.

Really? I've played the alto sax and drums. But I find guitars more relaxing to play. Except chords, they're a pain in the butt to play, and I can never get my fingers in the right position to play them, when I play them in a series. As I said, chords are a pain in my butt.

But I can play a few Garth Brooks songs, and that's it, for country songs I can play.

I dunno, I find an impropeteau Improv Jazz sesssion to be really calming.

Right on with jazz! I'm a quasi bassist....played in jazz bands all through school, and haven't really picked it up much in the last year or so. It's got some neck problems that need attending to, as well as the lovely tendenitis I've happend to develope while studying Shotokan...

I've played drums as well...not set, but more like concert band stuff. I do enjoy bass though, and as soon as it's fixed I'm going to start a band with a bunch of my friends. We'll play a bit of everything: rock, country, punk...you name it, we'll play it! ^^

My main instrument, however if French horn. Heh...not exactly your traditional jazz instrument, but I have played a bit of jazz on horn. It's good stuff...kind of dark and mellow sounding, which is cool. I'm mostly a classical musician though, but I'll listen to anything...except rap....gah...don't even get me started!

Eeeeee!!!! Another Shotokan geek! Yipee!!! Sorry, I just got a bit out of hand there, but...YAY!

Anyway, I kind've dropped the sax after 6th grade, I knew I wouldn't make it into Jazz band. So I started playing drums, and I love it. I prefer set work, mainly because my school's band program is awful.

*gets another ginger ale* man I love this stuff!

Anyway, I listen to country...and nothing out side, so I'm kind of loss on the whole Jazz conversation! XD Hey! But I'm in a country band! Yeah! I'm lead guitar, I love my electric guitar! I don't have to play chords! YAY! Anyway, so that's my musical background if we're talking about music groups and stuff! XD

You should check some out, it's great to listen to on car rides. If nothing else, listen to Tank! (Cowboy Bebop). Pity they don't play the full version as the opener, though.

'Scool. *Grabs another ginger ale as well* So, opinions on mainstream country today? God? Bad? Strays from what it's supposed to be?

It's okay I guess, it's turning more pop...although people like Tracy Lawrence, Clay Walker, and Gary Allan, are doing a quite a good job staying just right for me. Shania Twain, and Faith Hill are too pop for me, so are Rascal Flatts.

Meh, it's today's music industry. Happens to every genre eventually. But, yeah, there are some who don't give in as much. Laud them.
