Question: Couple of VM related questions

First, I'm wondering what the reason is that we can't "Physically remove" unwanted VM messsages... only option available (to me at least) is to "Soft delete" them, which leaves things looking cluttered on my profile, especially since I've recently faced the issue of deleting multiple (consecutive) SPAM VM's.

And related to that, is there any way we can block a user from leaving VM's other than the whole "add them to Ignore list and set privacy to Registered Users"? The reason I ask is that I use multiple computers but am only "permanently" logged onto PC on one of them. When I'm on the other computers, I like to go to my profile and see if any new VMs are waiting for me before deciding to log on.

Hard-deleting is only available to admins, if I remember. Mods can't even do it on their profiles or in their own sections. It's so that staff can check deleted content to see if it's something that needs acting on. If you're getting a lot of spam, consider reporting it.

Not other than that as far as I know. Setting your VMs to "Moderated" might do half the job, I guess?

Possibly reporting is the only thing you can do in that case.

But apart from spam, I've gotten a few VMs that I would like to remove *cough cough* because we had already settled the issue and I don't want anything to do with that person howevvvvver they didn't do anything "wrong" so to say.

Okay, thanks. Not sure if it's really reportable since the messages themselves weren't rule breaking, just annoying (and sometimes nonsensical and just outright bizarre) and I did message the other party about it and I haven't received any such messages since.

I suppose you could just tell them politely to stop VMing you, and if they ever break that in a harassing or spammy manner, then you could report them. idk if you'd want to do that, but it's just a suggestion.

If you do not wish to be messaged by someone, just send a message to a SMod and they will help you. :)

I actually did leave the other person a friendly message to that effect, and I haven't heard back from them since, so I think the issue is resolved, hopefully. If anything comes up I'll report it to staff, but so far, so good.
