Random idea. Sentret holding an Oran berry. It was originally going to be a Pecha, but it turned out the colors blended in too much with the Sentret's colors. ._.;;

The detail you involve in your sprites always amazes me, Cowrie. Like usual...awesome work. XD

So...my internet was out for a bit yesterday due to a thunderstorm. I ended up channeling my boredom into creating something new.

I finally made a buoysel sprite. :) It's not transparent like all of my other stuff since I haven't been able to get it into any program yet aside from Paint. I purposely darkened the background so that anybody viewing it on a dark forum layout wouldn't be hit by a large amount of white background.

This was made mostly from memory; the colors were made without any reference, I know.

Hippogryph. My latest pixel work in progress (thus the gray background, as I hate working on white). It's got weird anatomy (noodle leg!), and I was going for a style that was inspired by the look of heraldry griffons, but... *shrug* It's based upon this month's contest theme, though I'm honestly not sure if I'm going to enter.

I'm thinking of changing the color of the wingtips; I'm not sure what color I'd like to change it to, however.

Mainly posting this since I'm not sure when I'll actually finish/fix it, and I really don't want this thread to die. O.o
 
The front legs have a little bit of an awkward look to them, but other than that I don't really see anything wrong with it. The wingtip color is pretty bright, but I don't necessarily think it looks bad. The shading is really well done!! Beautiful dithering. Once again, nice work Cowrie. XD
 
Can I adopt the Mew?:pirate: *limit*
 
I like the wings. Better than my wings are turning out. T_T
The tail doesn't really need an outline though does it? Since its hair and such...

Thanks. :) Yeah, the front legs are one thing that definitely need to be worked on - first they were too long, and now... >_<

Please don't try to bypass the character limit. ^_^; And I'm not certain about the status of being able to "adopt" things now in this forum, and this thread wasn't meant for that, but sure, you can, as long as you give credit.

I dunno how well it really shows, but I've got an outline of a slightly darker color going around the outside of the whole thing...so the hair probably doesn't need an outline, but it might also look odd if it was the only thing on the hippogryph that wasn't outlined. :x Actually, once I get done, I'll change things around and see if it looks better with or without the outline...

Awesome Quilava. Though it looks a little fat and has a weird head. (I don't know how to say that nicer. But I don't think it's bad, it's just something I noticed.)

The Carbunkle is cute. ^.^

I like the Chickapo also.

but now im back for the meantime, and i cant believe how awesome your sprites are! i absolutely love that naztrack dragon, you are the best!

wow, your stuff is so awesome. i wish i had the drive and effort to do pixel art quite the way you do.

q- how long do you usually spend on each sprite?
