    im thinking that i should get a crawdaunt im not an expert at crawdaunts since i never raised1.if u would give move suggestions and help me decide for it to be an anooyer,mixed sweeper,etc.

    Nature: Lonely
    Attacks:
    -Crunch <-- Trade it before LV 35, then make it become LV 35 in FR/LG.
    -Sludge Bomb
    -Swords Dance
    -Aerial Ace

    Physical Sweeper makes good use of Craudaunt's amazing attack score. Crunch is for STAB and it's a nice surprise to R/S-only users.

    Only worth using a Scope Lens if you are using a high critical hit ratio move like Slash or Leaf Blade. Otherwise, you don't get nearly as much critical hits as you'd need to make them effective.

    Hhm.. if you can baton pass some speed to Crawdaunt he can be quite a threat, with 120 base Attack to use.
     
    Why Crunch? Never saw the point of putting a special attack on when you're going for a physical build.

    just so skarm/weezing/forretress dont own you...

    and i dont get y ppl put crunch > surf/hydrop... most phys tanks are weak to water (steelix, donphan, etc...) and not to dark...

    Hydro Pump could take care of him.

    HP Ghost is a maybe... I'd do Sludge Bomb and HP Ghost definately and SD. :o I dunno, never used him.

    Just a heads up but...

    Crawdaunt can't learn hydro pump. You can use crabhammer or surf though. Scope lens would work for crabhammer.
     
    Crawdaunt is one of those pogies who does well as a mixed sweeper. The main things you have to worry about are its super low special defense and speed (base 55 each I think). Personally, if it were me, I'd make him have his 2 stab attacks (surf and crunch) and then 2 physical. Hee hee... I like Crawdaunt. It's cute and under-rated. People just have to look beyond the special defense and they'll see an amazing beast. Just so you know:

    base attack: 120
    base defense: 85
    base special attack: 90 (this is pretty good!)
    base special defense/speed: 55 :*(
    base hp: 63 (so-so)
     
    its quite useful against slower opponents...

    Sure, let's not use the advantage of having Swords Dance.

    And I didn't know it didn't have Hydro Pump. I'd rather use Tentacruel then.

    Hhm... go with + Att, - Def/Sp Def for nature, if you want to make use of his Special attacks. Can't learn Hydro Pump. Consider HP Ghost over Sludge Bomb/Crunch, and Toxic/Double Team doesn't work. Swords Dance is recommended.

    Shut up. I said "personally, if it were me". Use Crawdaunt however you like and be like everyone else.
