well, I discovered that it's impossible for guests to vote on Serebii Forums, so I'm gonna post this poll seperately here. If it's in the wrong forum, please move it.
Anyway, I was thinking, for Pocket Monsters Chronicles, what if I have a chapter up only temporarily, and then take it down as soon as I post the second chapter. Then after a while, I post a collection of old chapters all at once later on in the thread and keep them there. Now, before you question me, I can explain.
See, PMC was originally gonna be a doujinshi, and I have greatly appreciated all the comments by people (on Serebii Forums anyway) saying they can actually picture an anime or manga when they read my fic. With the anime/manga experience mind, I think doing something like this would increase that experience even further. Don't you see, a new anime episode only airs on TV once a week, and it doesn't rerun (not only in Japan, but also some dubs, such as Saturday night Adult Swim). So, if you tune in late in the series, it's part of the experience to be confused, wondering who's who and what's going on, and anxiously awaiting the day when previous episodes are released onto DVD so you can see what happened earlier in the series. The same goes for manga, as you might've seen in the American version of Shounen Jump, most manga make their premier by having chapters show up in a weekly/monthly magazine, and later on, collection novels are released. What I'm doing is kinda simulating this.
However, I realize such a thing is extremely risky, so before I attempt it, I'd like to hear other's opinions on the matter. I'll leave this poll up for a week before I decide. Just a reminder, if I go through with this, the chapters are only down temporarily until they're posted in a collection.
