what happens after you play more than 999 hours?

    that's disgusting...

    I only have 220 hours

If you still need proof, just plug in your DS and leave it running for about a week. It'll do nothing at all.

when you cross 999 the game erases all data and the only thing you'll see is the adress of a psychiater near you (thanks to wifi)

    Erm, lol?
Why in hell would they do that? Its just mean lol

999 hours? Who would dare? That's just a sign of being to obsessed.

I've played 60 hours and I've completed half of my pokedex. I don't think I would ever need to pass 999 hours. o.O

maybe what will happen is it will go to 999. then ones thats over it begins with 000 and a tiny +1 at the corner

In Pokemon Silver, and Pokemon Blue, I had 999 hours filled in (I STILL play them).

The game proceeds normally, but the timer at the main menu stops.

What if we don't have wifi? This post of yours... Doesn't really make any sense.

I couldnt imagine, that is border line needing help XD

Even as sarcasm, it's annoying. Serious response plz.

Though I do know you meant that we'd have no life to play a Pokemon game so much it has 999 hours...

Well, realistically, once you've had the game for awhile, if you keep playing it... =P (also if you're like me and leave your DS on almost all the time... Gotta stop doing that, someday the battery's gonna die while it's like that...)

Some people who breed for perfect IVs and natures, then EV train for competitive battling. I've only recently started battling online (about a month ago, and I racked up 227 hours in that time.)
