• Wanted to draw on paper, but saw everyone used digital method for art, hence made the drawing via help of Krita. First time ever I had made any drawing without using pencil. Chose Electrode because it's circle and Bezier curve dependent.
• The sports chosen is Shot Put, which is there in Olympics, and fits the Ball Pokemon.
• I browsed through most Electrodes card and found the weakness against metal on GX, as well some other cards, hence kept it.
• The Card no. is my username, and it looks nice !!
• Making background art was tough, as I don't have enough skills to make it look different than solid colors, hence did something random.
• Didn't added Team Aqua Logo, because it would have required me to overhaul the entire art.

I draw on paper, then scan the result. Only did the coloring and background in paint. No way I could make anything more complex on PC...

uh... sorry but that looks a lot like you just edited Infernape's sprite a bit... it's even got the same shading:

You seem to have changed the face and given it super saiyan hair.

It breaks one of the rules:
"The art section of the TCG card needs to feature your own art. You can either make new art or use art that you've previously made for this. The art just needs to be yours."

Last minute submission woo! I can't do any serious art to save my life and luckily Aquacorde is a good artist and was able to whip up an amazing drawing.

So this is a submission from me and Aquacorde!

Notes:
- Burning Shadows was out of 147 cards, I changed it to 149 to account for the two extra Gengar GX's that "would have" appeared in the set (this would place it right after Noivern GX (141/147) which is the last GX card).
- Two white stars is apparently Ultra Rare? That's what I selected on the site - I tried to make it consistent with the GX cards that have numbers in that range.

Here's a bit about the card:

Here's why I chose what I did:
The art shows Snorlax sprinting behind a Charizard. Main reason was because I like it when trainers or other pokemon are present in one pokemon's card. Felt even better later for the lore- trailing behind to the last position as a Snorlax, but still trying it's best.

Hp: Usually the HP lies from 100-150. Chose extra HP cuz it's an athlete i.e. more fit, more powerful, more stamina etc.

Sleeping pokemon: this one I wasn't sure about, so took an idea from the Surfing and Flying Pikachu cards(who have it as Mouse pokemon anyway). Played well for the lore though - it's the Sleeping pokemon tag that it's working hard to remove, so...

(Ability) Run Away: Pretty self explanatory. Or maybe not. It's not just about being a sprinter, but also about the struggle. Snorlax does feel like it should run away to the mountains and live in "peace" like others of it's kind, since success seems difficult right now. Made it an ability cuz it's an internal thing that comes up. This struggle continues with its move.

Perseverance Sprint: Takes action to counter it's ability. Keeps trying anyway to reach it's goal, no matter what. Status conditions can be taken for the difficulties.

Retreat: One less retreat cost than usual because it's an athlete! However, that's more of a fun reason, another reason is requiring 3 energy card for 60 base damage.

Height remains the same. Weight however gets reduced slightly, cuz it's an athlete. Why not too much? Cuz it's a SNORLAX after all! It keeps working to reduce it though however, I cheer for him everyday. Wish I had control on my diet like him too :((( xD

A big thank you to everyone who participated. More people took part than I was expecting =D
There were a lot of lovely cards sent in

Before I go to the wrap up for the points I'd like to say that my scoring system for this was meant to make it so that even people who aren't overly confident in their art could do well.
That said I do feel like I gave the art section a bit too little attention in the list of scoring criteria and the moves could've been more important too. Overall there were some criteria I would've like to have stressed more, but couldn't without reworking the entire scoring system and I had already scored a bunch of cards by then. If I host this again in the future I'm definitely going to have to tweak the scoring system more.

The scoring system did however do it's job: there are no ties and all scores are pretty high, with the lowest being a 122 out of 150 (81,3% of available points) and the highest being a 141,5 out of 150 (94,3%). It was pretty interesting to see how every card fared in every category of the scoring.
