So i want to create a rom hack for which i already have almost all the plot and ideas planned. But the thing is that i really want to use the GEN II engine as base. Will it be an headache to create it compared to FireRed? Because i really want to use Gold/Silver as the base for the hack. I dont care if it takes me 5x times the time, but i want to know what sort of things i wont be able to achieve by the lack of tools that hacking FireRed currently has. (Editing worls sprites, back/front sprites, editing the texts, adding new pokemon, scripting especial events, editing the map, etc...). Remember im just asking for opinions, not for tools/tutorials, i already have a lot of tools for gold/silver
