[Other] Creating a Pokemon Sapphire Hack

Hi guys, basically what I want to do is creating a hack like Fire Red Omega but for Sapphire, as it was my first Game Boy Advance game and my all-time favourite Pokemon game. The problem is I have no idea how to hack the game - where can I find tools and tutorials so I can raise levels, add more Pokemon, give more Pokemon to trainers, add my own self-insert to benefit my ego, etc.

First of all, I vastly recommend you use Ruby over Sapphire, since there is much more research put into it
But if you really want to use Sapphire for Nostalgia purposes, note tthat many tutorials wont work for you

I know, I love Kyogre too. It reminds me of an orca :) But Ruby and Sapphire are basically the same, you could even modify ruby to be the same as sapphire if you wanted to. Sapphire has very little support and research.

Great! I don't know why people think Ruby is better than Sapphire. I have the same point of view that you: Sapphire is my favourite game (well, it is Crystal, but like you, I played Sapphire first). I REALLY want to see your hack finished! Good luck!

Because Ruby has more tools developed for it, among other things. Though Emerald is the way to go, really, since it has far more at its disposal (as well as other format changes that are generally preferred).

That said, if this is just a slideshow hack for Sapphire, I don't see why not.
