I was gonna build this for States in my state, but I was up until 3 AM Friday building it so States became a no-go for me. I was going to try for something different that I think looks fun, but I wasn't expecting much from it. I have not play-tested it at all yet.
Pokemon:
3-0-3 Crobat PLS (50 HP Zubat from PLS in-use)
2 Mewtwo EX
1 Victini NV (V-Create)
Trainers:
3 Skyla
3 Professor Juniper
2 N
1 Cheren
1 Cilan
4 Rare Candy
3 Ether
3 Pokedex
3 Catcher
3 Ultra Ball
2 Level Ball
2 Random Receiver
2 Hypnotoxic Laser
1 Tool Scrapper
1 Switch
4 Virbank City Gym
1 Computer Search
Energy
10 Psychic Energy
2 Double Colorless Energy
1 Prism Energy
The idea is to get Crobat and Virbank out to be able to do 60 in poison damage in addition to the 40 from the base damage of Ultra-Toxic Fang and take advantage of Crobat's free retreat to swarm it. Victini is for Klinklang matchups, which I was expecting to be facing frequently at my own States as I was fairly certain I would be sitting just below all the second-tier and 3rd-tier decks but just above all the people whose first ever tournament was States 2013. I know it needs some massive speed enhancements before it gets within sniffing distance of that second-tier, however. I'm fairly certain Level Ball, Tool Scrapper, Switch, and the second Mewtwo are probably not necessary and eating up deck space that could be better utilized with something else entirely, but I'm just not sure what. Expanding the Crobat line to 4-0-4? Adding in more Ether? Anything that doesn't involve not using Crobat PLS?
