purugly is fat and ugly and was made to look ugly. I think that puts him at an advantage
 
its called purUGLY for a reason. glameow looks much better

I'd replace Spinda, Shiftry, and Muk on that list with Swampert, Raikou, and Mew.

Out of the list I chose Gastrodon, though I think Swampert is the ugliest.

wtf? Probopass isn't even that ugly. Purugly is disgustingly pointless, and well obviously ugly. Hence the name, erm...PURE UGLY. Why is Shiftry in this poll???
 
Purugly is just plain UGLY hence the name purUGLY and not to mention its really fat and has an ugly face. How does a Glameow evolve to something so ugly? I would never allow my Glameow to evolve.
 
I wouldn't ever catch a Glameow in the first place, lol.

I'm pretty sure his "mustache" isn't really a mustache, isn't the storyline behind his design is that he is a magnet and the "mustache" is actually minerals found in mountains that were magnetized and collected beneath his main nose?

Yep, exactly, people just look at a pokemon's design and if it seems strange, they hate it. No one likes to go to bulbapedia and look up the background stories for pokemon they have questions about? Probopass has an alright background and explanation of his design. People should educate themselves on the pokemon they are about to criticize.

Everyone hates on Kricketune. Kricketune is an alright Bug type, atleast he isn't part flying also. He has an alright movepool, his cry is amazingly unique and hilarious. His design is in the same boat as his cry.
 
X-Scissor, Perish Song, Fury Cutter, Bug Bite, those are some pretty good moves.
 
People hate on mostly all of the new pokemon because they think nothing can be better than their precious red/blue pokemon because of the memories they have of their childhood. The new pokemon considered bad for the sole reason that they are different.

Yep, I couldn't agree more. But I too suffer from nostalgia every once in awhile, the 1st gen was good you know.
