Here's another poem that I wrote. Denial meaning, An unconscious defense mechanism characterized by refusal to acknowledge painful realities, thoughts, or feelings. (dictionary.com) we all have that feeling sometimes, and I just wrote this to express how I feel sometimes.

the faintest whisper in your mind

is reminding

reminding you of all your lies?



You know?

to plunge into oblivion

is lying

lying to your own salvation.



But still?

the softest melody of the wind

is blowing

blowing away your memories



You go?

the safe nation of denial

is waiting

waiting for your arrival?

short and sweet. love the emphasis with the bold. great job, i read it a few times over to catch the tone better, and i like how it flows.

I really enjoyed that Miyu-chan ^^, it really makes us think more about how we go into denial about certain things, just to avoid the truth weather it being in denial for something good, but not wanting to admit it or being in denial of having to face harsh realites of real life that may hurt you so you have to be in denial.

I hope that wasn't too confusing ^^', but in other words good job really speaks the truth at times XD.
