I got a friend interested in DN Angel. (He saw the cover of volume 11 and asked, "Oh god, is that that yaoi stuff?" XD) I don't have my volume one, though, so I can't win him over. I did show a lot of my friends a little bit of the first episode, though. But the anime is all slow-moving so I couldn't really get them into it that way.

I got interested in DN Angel thanks to a friend (points at Ash Ketchum/Talita) who showed me the opening. I loved the song so much and I really liked the artstyle, so I started watching it.

What is the cover of Volume 11 if it makes people think it's Yaoi?

In the beginning I pronounced it like Die-su-key, now it's more Dieskay.
But I guess when pronouncing it like that, I put a really small "u" sound in between, just to link the "s" and "k". ^^" And I sometimes call Dark "Daaku" for fun. x3

i let my friend read my dnangel book once and she called him die-sue-key noo-uh. i was like nooooo ur saying it wrong! lol

Well, I guess most people who are not (so) familiar with Japanese (pronounciation) do not know the 'u' is sometimes not pronounced.
Satoshi-kun is also pronounced as Satosh-kun.

Haha, I showed my friends the first episode in Japanese, and they all thought it was funny when Krad screamed out Dark's name in the beginning. Now we have this sort of inside joke where we scream "DAAAAAAAAAAAAKU!" at each other. XD That's the only instance where I pronounce it like that though.

Yup. I watched the Japanese version of that episodes after I watched the english one and I was like.."What the heck.." -rewinds- "o-o They didn't dub the little line..wow weird..are they lazy or something?"

Someone should ask them why they didn't do that line. xD

I should really try drawing Emiko and Kosuke together... but there is one thing I don't understand about them. Emiko was called Niwa before she married/got together with him... right? So did he have a different last name? If so then shouldn't she have taken on his name rather than the other way round @.@

Well, I thought about that too. Maybe they didn't want the name of Niwa too disappear, since Emiko was the only child of Daiki and is the only one that could pass on the name of Niwa. If I know Kosuke a bit, he was willing to change his name to Niwa (since he wasn't so surprised that Emiko wanted to be mother of the Phantom Thief. Gosh, that part was so sweet. <3)
