On monday I'll finally get Pokemon Pearl and I have to think about team. Can you give me some advices? What would you recommend? What movesets? What natures?

modest is the best nature for sp.att pokemon and i would not keep the starter unles u breed it 999999999 times then look up ev points it takes a long time but if u wana be the best u got to have the time

Adamarent, Modest, Mild, Rash and quiet natures are good. =]

Get a electric type for flying and water types.

Fire for grass.

Water for fire.

Psychic for ghosts.

Grass for water.

and keep a dragon in there with you, it'll be useful soon.

Be original, each pokemon should only have 1 move of 1 type, and dont over dose on powerful moves.

No, I really think that Psychic is good against ghosts. Maybe that's just with the Miracle Eye move.

Oh, so since my Magcargo has Earth Power are do suggest that Rock is good against Steel? Or that Fire is good against Rock?
